Think about it. Would you purposely leak a deadly virus right by your own lab that created it? And let it kill your own people first?
No. Deniability would be pointless. Draw a bull’s-eye, the lab is ground zero. Yes, the msm tried to stop the truth from getting out, but it would be lunacy to count on that.
If On Purpose: They would have spread it at an airport in another country, or similar. Better deniability.
That said, once it escaped, China knew the genie was out of the bottle. So they shut down Wuhan, and domestic travel...but allowed their sick to hop on planes and fly to Italy, and other countries, spreading it to the West. THAT was on purpose.
Let it kill their own people first?
Hell yes. Gives them plausible deniability, (It was a ACCIDENT!), helps them in a small way re their demographic problem with too many oldsters, and they still get to share it with the rest of the world.
Losing some of their own people? They care zero, and they care even less about the rest of the world.
They’re the CCP. They can BIH.

The coronavirii that affect human beings have been around since before recorded history. Of the four one causes bronchitis (HCoV-NL63), two cause the common cold (HCoV-229E, and HCoV-OC43), and one causes pneumonia (HCoV-HKU1).
Since 2003, there have been three new ones.
1) SARS-CoV-1 discovered in 2003.
2) MERS-CoV discovered in 2012.
3) SARS-CoV-2 discovered in 2019.
Considering how long the first four have been around, is it possible all three of the newest have been genetically engineered?
