I have said this for a long time. Instantly nationalizes the election and exposes every RINO... make them declare during election cycle if they will vote for Trump as speaker or not.
They’ll try to refuse to seat him.

I would very much like to see Trump back in the White House as President, but both parties would be so triggered by it, we would be back into another cultural World War.

If the GOP takes the House in 2022 they don’t need Trump to block Biden’s agenda. McCarthy or Scalise can do it.
If the Republicans win the majority of House seats in 2022, Nancy Pelosi won’t be Speaker of the House. The republicans won’t refuse to seat Trump there.

I think that’s exactly what Trump should do.
Also, it’s a short term, but it would make it almost through the end of Biden (or whoever takes over for him when his dementia becomes too much of a problem). At that time, Trump can consider his options.

The Constitution says that the House shall choose a Speaker. But it does not say “from among its members”! So the Speaker of the House does not have to actually be a member of the House.
Bottom line: Trump need not run for a House seat to get the job. (And wouldn’t that drive the liberals crazy!)
The U.S. Constitution does not specifically state that the Speaker of the House must be a sitting member of Congress.
“The House of Representatives shall chuse (sic) their Speaker
and other officers.”
If that’s the case, if the GOP takes control of the House in 2022, they could appoint Trump to the position of Speaker, even if he’s not a sitting Congressman.
Won’t work because he would never get 67 Senate votes to remove Biden.
The DOJ/FBI are America’s KGB. The notion that they will “investigate” or prosecute anything Biden-related is pure fantasy.
They need to be finally exposed to the public though as the corrupt, partisan, political operation they are.
It would trigger mass withdrawals, resignations and suicides.
Speaker of the House Trump would have no restraints. Especially if he ends up with more MAGA Reps in the House. The others would have no choice but to stand with him, quit or change parties.

Nice idea but would never happen. Also, the Speaker doesn’t even need to be elected to Congress. Trump could be elected Speaker immediately if the votes were there.
Remember, the House GOP conference voted to retain Cheney after her impeachment vote. It was only her never-ending jihad against Trump post-impeachment that caused her to lose her leadership post.
