I had most of this timeline determined, minus the very last part.

This is a blockbuster. I am going to wait until others confirm this.
So if I understand the chronology of events in 2012 Obama’s NSA put a ban on gain of function research. Then on Jan 9, 2017 Obama lifts that ban on gain of function research. Then in early 2017 after Trump is inaugerated Fauci gives money to ECO to do gain of function research.
And the buzzards dare call President Trump and his supporters ‘Nazi’... personally I consider that a ‘blood’ libel. Get thee behind me ‘Satan’ ...
Isn’t that truly amazing. Almost as if Obama wanted America to get 9/11-ed by a bioweapon with Trump as president. And Fauci went along with it, even making a declaration that it was going to happen.

I harp on several things constantly. One of those things is size of government. Yeah, it's is one of those antiquated conservative ideas that are seldom mentioned. The fact of the matter is, if government was small, then there is far less that can go wrong. When the budget is small, then far less is funded. One of the other thing I constantly write about is freedom and liberty. There is an inverse relationship between size of government/budget and freedom/liberty. I think you know which is the numerator and which is the denominator.
While I buy into MAGA, which is really national populism, it seriously needs a major injection of government and budget cutting, which is to be a bit more conservative. (That is not a neo-con idea either. We are talking Barry Goldwater conservative. Yeah, I'm that old.)
