Infection rates already falling before restrictions put in place.
A major new study by German scientists at Munich University has found that lockdowns had no effect on reducing the country’s coronavirus infection rate.
Oh.
“Statisticians at Munich University found “no direct connection” between the German lockdown and falling infection rates in the country,” reports the Telegraph.
The study found that, on all three occasions before Germany imposed its lockdowns in November, December and April, infection rates had already begun to fall.
The R rate – the number that indicates how many other people an infected person passes the virus to – was already under 1 before the lockdown restrictions came into force.
As we highlighted last year, a leaked study from inside the German Ministry of the Interior revealed that the impact of the country’s lockdown could end up killing more people than the coronavirus due to victims of other serious illnesses not receiving treatment.
This is by no means the only study to have concluded that lockdowns are completely useless and don’t work.
A peer reviewed study published in January by Stanford researchers found that mandatory lockdowns do not provide more benefits to stopping the spread of COVID-19 than voluntary measures such as social distancing.
Back in March, Stanford medical professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya told Newsweek that COVID-19 lockdowns are “the single worst public health mistake in the last 100 years.”
Earlier this year, academics from Duke, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins concluded that there could be around a million excess deaths over the next two decades as a result of lockdowns.
Other research has concluded lockdowns will conservatively “destroy at least seven times more years of human life” than they save.
Lockdowns did not work
Masking was ineffective
Social distancing was ineffective
The politics of all of this are inescapable.
Treatment regimes DID WORK, but the same people promoting the ineffective cancelled those in the push for the vaccine.
Fauci lied and people died.
All through the pandemic, people asked me what I was doing. I said, “Staying isolated and masking up. However, I can’t shake the feeling that none of this is accomplishing a damned thing.”
I still have that feeling.
This will be the great test to determine whether America is, in fact, too stupid to survive.

The lockdowns were never designed to stop a coronavirus. They were designed by the Globalists to stop China from losing a trade war.
Don’t forget climate lockdowns! It is a real possibility, reported by Forbes magazine.
I think a lot of people now have their self-image tied up in this —
“I did everything right. I’m a good person. I masked up, I isolated, I kept my distance. I was perfect. I was good. Not like some other people who selfishly didn’t care about others.”
“Yeah, but all of that was basically a waste of effort. None of it made a difference.”
“SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! I’m a good person! I did what they told me to do!!! You’re a horrible human being!”
CoupFlu.
The political lockdowns helped big box corporate stores, pot shops, and .. punished Christian churches, mom & pop restaurants and other small businesses.
By design
“You want grandma die!!!” is their mantra. I know vaxxed people who are still masked because they spent so much energy denigrating people who didn’t wear masks.
Personally, I’d love to see the portfolios of the governors of states that did the harshest lockdowns. They got to choose who succeeded and who failed...
This had me laughing throw back to hearing hooligans at stadiums back in the day.
During the Spanish Flu, entire communities were largely spared while neighboring communities, counties and even entire cities were heavily hit. ‘Scientists’ at the time really couldn’t explain it and efforts today to explain it have been unconvincing.
Early on in our current pandemic, we were told that Asian countries were largely spared from the unfolding real-time disasters in northern Italy and the UK because they had such great ‘contact tracing’ and a cultural predisposition to wear masks and continually wash their hands and not shake hands and whatnot. So, we should all effort to be exactly like them. It almost sounded rational.
And yet, look at Japan, Malaysia and the Philippines today. What’s changed? Nothing other than COVID is now finally spreading there. Six of the top 11 countries that are now seeing the biggest increase in COVID transmission are all - wait for it - ASIAN countries. Go figure. Why? If epidemiologists were honest, they’d say: ‘We have no idea.’
100-years after the Spanish Flu, I’m getting the feeling epidemiologists still don’t have a very good handle on why disease spreads in a macro sense, or at least not enough understanding for it to be useful predictively. Also, modern science has an aversion to admitting, ‘We don’t know.’ Instead, they feel a kind of compulsion to speak authoritatively on every question that comes up. There’s nothing wrong in admitting uncertainty. When you don’t and you’re wrong, you undermine all credibility...which is where we’re at now, understandably and deservedly.
What!? You mean sticking everyone indoors without sunshine and fresh air is not a good idea.

This is news?
I’ve been saying that on here for over a year.
“Yeah, but all of that was basically a waste of effort. None of it made a difference.”

A lot of people in power want to always project the idea they are in control. Much of the populace, behaving like small children, want that feeling of security. It terrifies them and it terrifies the people in power. to admit they can’t do a damn thing about some particular event. Thus, even if ineffective, the government will “do something”.
this is why the government is loath to admit they know anything about the UAPs / UFOs. If they exist, the government would be forced to admit there is nothing they can do about them. They’re powerless. That frightens people in government and it frightens many people who demand security.
When the R value is less than one, a pathogen does not spread and numbers of new/active cases do not increase. Covid-19 is still spreading, and until very recently, the numbers of new/active cases were still increasing.
If there is such a study, where is the reference to it? Who conducted the study, what are their names? Anyone can say "There was a study..." but without references, there is no way to verify the claim or to look at the study and see if what the study shows matches the claim.
I have tracked down many of these claims and reviewed the original research only to find that the research does not support the claim at all. Is this another of those cases? Is that why there is no information about who conducted the study, where it is published, etc.?
Unfortunately, the misinformation about Covid-19 spreads much faster than the pandemic. For a number of reasons, the scientific community is not doing a good job of countering it (although we are quite aware of the problem). Right now, the spread of misinformation (i.e. outright lies) about Covid-19 is now our greatest obstacle to actually getting rid of the pandemic.
