Xi Jinping wants isolated China to ‘make friends and win over the majority’

China’s president has called for better international communication to repair the country’s coronavirus-hit image and win a battle of narratives with the US and its allies.

Xi Jinping’s remarks at a study session of the Politburo, the ruling Communist Party’s top echelon, on Monday came amid a deepening feud with Washington and with negative perceptions of China at record high levels in many parts of the world.

It is not the first time Xi has called on party cadres and state-controlled media to “tell China’s stories well” to the world and present the country in a positive light.

But Chinese observers said his latest call was a rare admission of Beijing’s isolation that has been exacerbated by aggressive “Wolf Warrior” diplomacy and ineffective propaganda and influence campaigns abroad. It also suggests how Beijing will seek to shift the unfavourable narratives in its ideological and geopolitical wrangling with Western democracies.

Xi highlighted the need to “create a favourable external public opinion environment” and strengthen communications “under the new situation” to secure its rise, state news agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday.

Keep your friend close and your enemies closer.
Xi is not our friend.

Not unleashing bioweapons on the world might be a good place to start.

Just sayin’

Simple solution, he should hire the American media, American Corporations, er, perhaps he did.

Just like Biden wants to unite America. Morons with delusions of grandeur think that spewing words is good enough.

Biden was always stupid and is now a vegetable. Xi is more feeble minded than Biden and fat.

China should be nuked and cease to exist as a country. They unleashed a bioweapon on the world.

A plague on humanity. Literally.

I remember when Jiang Zemin was in charge, one of his ideas was to make existing Chinese programming available in other countries. This was intended to increase China's "soft power". However, anyone who has ever watched a China's news and information channel knows that it is propaganda in its most raw and obvious form, and it would never convince a Western audience. This statement by Xi Jinping seems to be in the same spirit.

On another note, we need to find Chinese internal communications (emails, text messages, phone calls, etc.) regarding the outbreak of the pandemic.

Neighbors don’t take over the city state next door and imprison everyone who complains.

Example #1 on the hit parade.

Since the first day that Mao Tse-Tung became the first Communist leader of mainland China, they have been a threat to the entire world.

The existence of, and the world laid waste by, their manufactured virus, codifies the level of their threat.

They have stated that they will allow a ‘reaction reduction of their population’in the past.

It would do the world far better, and with a ‘greater economy of movement’, to lay waste to them economically, to lay waste to their banks, their foreign holdings, and seize their precious metals, should they be held outside the confines of continental Asia.

They have stated that they will allow a ‘reaction reduction of their population’in the past.

According to Khruschev, in 1957 Mao said, "If the imperialist impose war on us, we now have 600 million people, even if we lose 300 million, so what, this is war. Years later, we nurture new, and the population will be restored."

This is an interesting move but his motives remain dishonest in the extreme.

In the past 6 months many Chinese officials have told the truth about their intentions. They have alienated many people and openly wave a stick at Western nations.

Their comments have been made public thanks to the flow of information and social media platforms and then they are quickly picked up by news organizations. Look at what they have done to their relationship with Australia during the pandemic.

Xi does not disagree with them. He simply does not want them to speak publicly about “the plan”.

That is why the economic war should ensue, were Congress not in their pocket.

All their properties and holdings, within CONUS, could be federalized with a stroke of the pen.

Yes, it is not a thought a true capitalist might consider, but for all the jobs, services, and cashflow, I believe that would justify it.

And, I am sure that a nationalist/nativist would hardly argue the point.
