Anyone who abuses an animal needs to suffer the exact same abuse as punishment along with an appropriate jail sentence.
Animal abusers are a small step above child abusers.
I’d agree if it were a domestic animal, or if it were a wild animal who was doing no harm. Large lizards, especially in the size they grow into in Florida, do not really deserve the benefit of a doubt. Iguanas can be domesticated, but so can wild dogs. If a wild dog bites someone, he better expect to get kicked, or even shot.
Most serial killers start off being animal abusers..
What a bunch of garbacious horse shit
I read about men who shoot iguanas for a living to collect the bounty paid on surrender of the dead carcass.
The shooting is accomplished with a pellet rifle
Utter BS, since the term you use is purely subjective. Eat meat? Kill veggies?
The lizard isn’t even a game animal and is invasive, so not even protected by law.
They are tough. Sure, he probably went too far in his silly antics, but not a felony.
Yet in FL, unborn humans are dismembered and thrown in the trash.
Too bad he didn’t just shoot it. But that would be unacceptable too.
Glad I live in the country and have space and a shovel.

Gary Johnston: We were all out at the zoo one day. I was doing some acting, walking on the railing of the gorilla exhibit. I fell in. Everyone screamed and Tommy jumped in after me, forgetting that he had blueberries in his front pocket. The gorillas just went wild. They jumped all over his body and... threw him around like a rag doll to get to those blueberries. One gorilla would throw him to another gorilla who, tossed him to another... Everyone panicked and cried out for somebody to help but it was too late. The gorillas... beat him to death, before the zookeepers could gas them all. My acting... got my brother killed. I got to live with that, every single day.
Lisa: Gary, you can’t blame yourself for what gorillas did.
Children abuse animals all the time. I remember how proud I was when I used my bow and arrow to decapitate a small snake. I was eleven. Then there was the time my best friend and I went frog hunting. My mother refused to make frogs’ legs, so we had to dump them back in the pond.
If it was in traffic then it posed a traffic hazard.
The lizard bit attacked him. They are also invasive pests. He no more abused a lizard kicking it then someone would if they kicked a dog that bit.
