Conservative talk show host Dana Loesch is set to replace the late Rush Limbaugh's show in a multiplatform deal with Audacy and Radio America.
Her show will be broadcasted in 11 markets including Kansas City, Las Vegas, Richmond, Wichita, Gainesville, Greenville-Spartanburg, Philadelphia, Austin, Buffalo, St. Louis and Hartford, according to a press release from the companies.
"We're thrilled to partner with Radio America and welcome Dana Loesch to our broadcast and digital platform," Jeff Sottolano, executive vice president of programming for Audacy, said. "Dana is a leading conservative voice and influencer and both her daily live show and future original podcast are terrific additions to our best-in-class news and talk offerings."
Loesch told The Hill in a statement that she is not attempting "to be Rush" who died in February from cancer.

Yep. Wouldn’t listen to her ever.
But in general, the attempt to “replace” Rush is silly. It’s like trying to replace Paul Harvey. The “next” Rush won’t be on AM radio, just as Rush came out of nowhere to revive a dying AM radio brand when everyone was moving to TV.
The next big thing is never where the last big thing came from.
“No interest in any never Trumper. Next?”
I used to read National Review from cover to cover. Never again.
But in somewhat fairness to the names on that Feb 16, 2016 NR cover; it was early in the Trump candidacy. People had serious doubts as to whether Trump was a true conservative. I was one of them and initially supported Cruz.
I don’t know how many of those names on the cover: Sowell, Loesch, Pavlich, Domenech, etc. have recanted other than Beck . I heard his apology on air.
I know Trump definitely surprised them. Sure did me too. I miss him so much as our president.
I am so ticked-off still in the way the last election was stolen. It was a coup! As a vet myself, in light of Memorial Day, I wonder how many of our fallen and wounded think twice of their sacrifice for a country that is now worse than a banana republic - where freedom no longer rings.
To tag a line from Reagan: Are you freer now than you were just 5 months ago?
“Fail. No one will tune in, except a few Rush loyalists - I won’t for sure. No one can replace Rush.”

It’s true that no one will be as good as Rush. But, come on, do you think we really should have three hours of RADIO SILENCE to honor Rush?
Candace Owens would be a good listen.
Carry on the good work. Its badly needed.
I think if Mark Levin had more humor he would be a close second to Rush as he has good judgment and constitutional opinions. Some even better than rush.
A picture from February 2016. Things change.
Premiere Radio Networks will offer Sexton and Travis on weekdays from noon to 3 p.m. starting on June 21.
No one is replacing Rush. There’s a time slot that needs to be filled.
A valuable coworker dies, you can’t replace the knowledge but the vacancy still needs to be filled.
Here in central PA they are still doing the fill-in or guide host from 12-3. I occasionally catch a few minutes but the show is built around interjecting old Rush clips which I don’t really care for.
Years ago, 2000’s something, JD Haywood filled in from time to time. I thought he was great. I just looked him up and see has a spot on Newsmax Prime, but I haven’t see it. I always thought he would do good with his own radio show.
Conservative talk radio is dead. Dana Loesch (the anti-Trumper) being plugged into the 12noon to 3pm slot is just the latest proof.
Agreed, I believe that Glenn Beck had very much a change in favour of Trump and so did Katie Pavlich.
Don’t trust them.
Speak for yourself. Anyone who promoted Free Trade, endless war and was anti-Trump isn't anyone to take seriously.
Aligning with Kristol is bad enough. These self-appointed guardians of conservatism need to be shunned.
Clay Travis is an interesting voice. Agree, no one can ever replace Rush.
RUSH: Snerdley is going back into the archives here. A tiger is a tiger. It’s just a reminder that these are not pets. These are not trainable. They’re… Well, they are somewhat, but they’re not tamable, and they don’t love you. They’re wild animals! They’re predators. A lion’s a lion.
Derek Hunter in the Baltimore market.
At least Sowell said “you can’t argue with his results”
Loesch, in 2016, was pretty anti-Trump. I don’t know her current configuration now, but she’s not really staked much ground as a populist conservative.
I reserve judgement until I could ascertain how she might answer the question, “Does the GOP viably and effectively represent the interests of anyone outside the Chamber of Commerce in the US in 2021?”
