Kanye West, Oprah, Justin Bieber… that's just a few names Prime 112 can drop.
When it comes to the sheer probability of actually seeing someone famous at the swanky upscale Miami Beach steakhouse, you've got a pretty go
The latest shooting reached the upscale steakhouse Prime 112 – with two injured after gunfire erupted in a dispute involving a celebrity rapper's entourage Monday night.
A reporter in California tweeted that her sister was a waitress working at the time bullets rang out.
Bakersfield Now’s Fiona Daghir painting the horrifying picture – writing that she was working the outside section but had briefly walked inside before hearing gunshots. She then hid under a desk.
"She just texted me this," Daghir said. "Terrified is an understatement."
Located in the historic Browns Hotel, Prime 112 Restaurant dubs itself as "a chef-driven boutique steakhouse that offers an innovative menu in a high-energy environment," according to its website.
Miami Beach Police said Tuesday that two suspects – 21-year-old Wisdom Awute and 29-year-old Christopher Urena – had been charged in connection to the shooting that broke out around 11:37 p.m. on the infamous Ocean Drive in South Beach.
Grammy-nominated rapper "DaBaby," whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was initially taken into custody for questioning but was released without charges connected to the incident. An arrest report says that a witness told police he recognized Awute as a rapper known as "Wisdom," who was allegedly a part of DaBaby’s entourage that night.

Another buried story.
“Tonight we settle all.family business.”
Truth in advertising.
I don't want to jump to conclusions here . . . so I won't.
It’s not “gun” violence. It’s another kind of violence. Remember the spring break pictures taken at the beaches.
Yeah, because “gun violence” just happens… It has nothing to do with a certain demographic of people who have zero emotional and impulse control... nah... nope ... uh uh... nothing at all ..

A lesson that should have been learned long ago is, if a Rapper and entourage enter any establishment it’s time for everyone else to pay their bill and leave. Having cash in the wallet makes this a quick exit. Just place cash under a plate at the edge of your table and leave.
It’s not as if drive-by’s at establishments where rappers show up is an extremely rare occurrence.
Too many people, too little breathing space for the soul.
It’s true of all congested living areas.
You can take the 13% out of the ghetto, but the ghetto stays. with them....DA BABY is worth 5 million dollars and still hangs around thugs.....They love the lifestyle...
Actually, if you like excitement and living life on the edge, eat your food as fst as possible and slurp down as many drinks as you can. Then when the gunfire erupts you can run out without having to pay for your bill. It will all be comped.
Coincidentally, I just ate that a few weeks ago. It was....not great and laughably overpriced, which honestly can be said about most Miami Beach restaurants. Food was just OK, not bad but not memorable either. The service was memorably bad. Wait staff looked beat which I thought might have something to do with labor shortage.
In any event, 112 is not the best steak house in MIA much less one of the best restaurants generally. Although, there really aren’t many steak houses in MIA so selection is limited. Meat Market was really good, but I think it’s closed. If you’re looking for a steak, I’d recommend Smith & Wollensky’s. It’s very consistent and no rapper shootings I’m aware of.
Brother, I grew up in North Philly. I’m very familiar with that idiot mentality. It’s infantile and psychotic.
Never would have guessed the species
These days, if I want a steak, I’ll get a prime ribeye from Costco and grill it myself on my patio.
I’m guessing this is more of that White Supremacist violence Joe was talking about...
