What about the people still wearing masks outdoors, or in their cars? For some folks, it gives them a sense of security. Maybe they are ugly, I don’t know.

no study has EVER shown effectiveness of mask wearing in prevention of any airborne respiratory viral infection.
Studies done over mask mandates during Covid have shown the same things every over study done before covid has shown...
Infection rates differ nominally at best when everyone is wearing a mask vs no one is... these differences in infection rates are paltry 1-2% difference on the high end.
