A 10-year-old Miami boy was shot after his father took him on a faux drive-by shooting with a paintball gun — and a frightened homeowner returned fire with real bullets, according to authorities.
Michael Williams, 26, allegedly gave in to his son’s pleas late Sunday to take him on a paintball “drive-by shooting,” where police said the boy fired off the unlethal rounds into a crowd gathered in the front yard of an Opa-locka home, the Miami Herald reported.

We don’t know the age of Baby-momma.............23?...24?.............
Sometimes it may be better if Dad doesn’t stick around.
Must have felt the boy needed a dry run in preparation for the real thing, later on when he would move into the family “business”. The “real thing” couldn’t know this and shot back.
Don’t forget to charge the father with “extreme mopery”.
wonder what lesson the kid learned from this...
On the plus side, there is a father in the house taking part in raising the boy!
I was his first lesson in da culture
I hope it takes.
A do-over would really suck.
Not dead if you read the article.
The youngster, who was not publicly identified, was then run over by his father’s van after being shot and losing his balance, police said.
The boy was hospitalized after the shooting, but was expected to recover as of Monday afternoon, WSVN reported.
The son is alive. Article mentions that.
This case wouldn’t apply since the father was in the son’s life.
LMAO!!!
Seems like you haven’t looked at the fertility rates statistics lately. More like government subsidised non baby machines.
Lol was just thinking the dad Wil. Probably high five his son and they will do it again when the kid recovers
Maybe he was worried he'd be stuck with the bill... Better to risk the child's life and stick the Mom with the bill.(I'm assuming no woman would stay with an idiot like this... and that they're divorced. )
Seriously! This fact in itself tells us 100% of what we need to know in order to understand HOW THE HECK a father can come to the conclusion fake drive-by with 10 year old son is a good idea. My dad’s code for this disorder was “I D ten T syndrome”. Spelled out it’s ID10T.....remember that. :)
No kidding. BUT...there’s a bright side to everything. When this son, should he live long enough, had grand kids one day, he can sit them on his knee one day and tell this amazing tale of survival from his grade school days.
