Michigan Republican Rep. Pete Meijer slams his OWN party for being 'treacherous snakes' who are 'salivating over civil war' after voting against the riot commission

Republican Rep. Pete Meijer appeared to condemn members of his own party as 'treacherous snakes' in a Memorial Day message that accused them of 'salivating for civil war.'

Meijer, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and as a conflict analyst in Afghanistan, voted to impeach President Trump after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and his latest broadside followed calls by some Trump supporters to secede from the United States.

'I struggle with Memorial Day,' he wrote in the first of string of tweets that criticized the 'holier than thous' deploying 'hot takes.'

Meijer is a graduate of two NYC universities: Columbia University, with a degree in cultural anthropology, and New York University, with an MBA. He succeeded Justin Amash, a RINO and Never Trumper par excellence. Meijer defeated two Republican challengers, Lynn Afendoulis and Tom Norton, both with non-Dutch surnames. In western Michigan, if you're not Dutch, you're not much.

Tom Norton, an Iraq War veteran and businessman, is a primary challenger for 2022. As Meijer only won the GOP primary in 2020 with 50.2% of the vote, he stands a good possibility of falling in the primary unless other conservatives enter the race.

This guy has become Justin Amash redux, minus the Ron Paul fetish and creepy Palestinian blood ties.

The local GOP groups made a big mistake not nominating someone who had been primaring Amash before he dropped out. I wouldn't be surprised if Amash secretly gave this guy his blessing to be his successor

Vern Ehlers, Amash’s predecessor, was a RINO as well. This was Gerald Ford’s district, local GOP should be liquidated.

He lost to John Gibbs, who the CommiecRATs claimed was “too conservative” for West Michigan. They preferred their own CommiecRAT Meijer.
