Republican Rep. Pete Meijer appeared to condemn members of his own party as 'treacherous snakes' in a Memorial Day message that accused them of 'salivating for civil war.'
Meijer, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and as a conflict analyst in Afghanistan, voted to impeach President Trump after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and his latest broadside followed calls by some Trump supporters to secede from the United States.
'I struggle with Memorial Day,' he wrote in the first of string of tweets that criticized the 'holier than thous' deploying 'hot takes.'

A non-partisan riot commission would look into the funding and coordination of last year’s “months of rage” riots which resulted in many deaths and assaults on federal and local government offices and billions in theft and damages.
Veteran or no, this guy is a democrat to the core. To democrats, people who fight for America are not heroes. Instead, they idolize people like Woodward and Bernstein, and whistleblowers who tear down America. To see this guy attacking the base proves he is 100% ‘rat.

Backers seeking to break California away from the U.S. started collecting signatures Friday to get a proposed independence measure on the 2018 statewide ballot.
This isn't the first effort aimed at California secession but leaders say the previous tries were mostly about building awareness of the issue and increasing public support. They say recent polls show more Californians want a divorce from the union and believe that President Donald Trump's election also has boosted their cause.

They say recent polls show more Californians want a divorce from the union and believe that President Donald Trump's election also has boosted their cause.
And yet he says not one thing about BLM or the destruction of Detroit in his own state.
