A good number of Hispanics (majority I have worked with) in south Florida are white, ie 100% European descended, which is not the case with the Hispanic population up here in NJ or in CA for that matter. I don’t know why folks mock the term “white Hispanic” as they do exist (don’t know why “Amurcans” classify “Hispanic” like it’s a race). BTW: Zimmerman’s mom was actually a Peruvian of mixed African, Amerindian and European heritage, but the media didn’t want to hear it.
