Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Paul Rossi, a whistleblower and math teacher at Grace Church School, about the NYC private school’s critical race theory influenced antiracism curriculum that led him to publish “I Refuse to Stand By While My Students Are Indoctrinated” on the Substack of Bari Weiss.

Paul reveals the damage being done by critical race theory being forced onto young kids. Paul describes how critical race theory in education had been building slowly for years. Recently he had noticed the damaging effects it was having on his students by making them feel like they couldn’t have opinions that differed from the social justice orthodoxy. Young kids were made to feel guilt and shame over their alleged “white privilege”. He also describes the incident that made him decide to speak up and put his job at risk. Paul reveals the fallout from questioning the antiracist education lessons that his school was forcing him to teach. He describes why he decided to go public and how Bari Weiss helped him have a platform. He also describes how George Davison, the head of school admitted to Paul how he too thought the critical theory curriculum was demonizing white students. He denied saying this in public, but Paul plays the leaked recorded audio of the head of school acknowledging the damage that the antiracism program was having on the students.

The morally compromised status of “oppressor” is assigned to one group of students based on their immutable characteristics. In the meantime, dependency, resentment and moral superiority are cultivated in students considered “oppressed.”

All of this is done in the name of “equity,” but it is the opposite of fair. In reality, all of this reinforces the worst impulses we have as human beings: our tendency toward tribalism and sectarianism that a truly liberal education is meant to transcend.

Economics, taxes, foreign policy, infrastructure, education, have all been issues that Americans generally prioritize as concerns when polled. Since when did skin pigmentation and what should be the proper pronoun for a man in a dress, and which stereotyped identity group is the latest imagined victim of our system become overarching concerns force fed by the media on the American population as a replacement for the real issues facing this country. Are we now only polling academe, the media, congressional Democrats and the victim industry for issues of the day?

To understand what’s going on you have to look at the world through the lens of a Marxist.

Marx divided people into oppressors and oppressed. In his world the oppressors were people of the business owning class (capitalists) and the oppressed were the working people. He theorized that working people would spontaneously rise up and overthrow their oppressors.

Well that view of the world crashed and burned when working people were rather happy with capitalism, especially since it provided them a large amount of social mobility.

But Marx’s division of the world between oppressor and oppressed didn’t disappear. They just needed to find new groups that are oppressed. Well what better oppressed group are there than blacks and the delusionals.

And because of the reality of their nature, they make permanent oppressed groups. So the neo-Marxists are in hog heaven.
