Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski has torn into her colleagues who say they want to oppose the Capitol riot commission during a chaotic night in the chamber.
'We just can't pretend that nothing bad happened, or that people just got too excitable. Something bad happened. And it's important to lay that out,' Murkowski told reporters after a vote on the proposed commission was delayed on Thursday night after the Senate grinded to a halt.
Overnight chaos in the Senate prevented the bill establishing a 9/11-style commission to investigate the January 6 Capitol attack from getting a vote to block a Republican-led filibuster.

Exactly. Not one shot fired except at protestors, nothing burned. I have no problem prosecuting anyone who committed a crime there, but this was not the near-thing revolution that is being portrayed. The only purpose of this commission was political - to keep that story in the news as long as possible for the benefit of those who hate Trump and those who voted for him.
Though I mostly agree, I think she was threatening. She was the “first in” of an unruly mob breaking through a locked door to enter.
It pains me to say this, but I’d have pulled the trigger a lot sooner than he did if the roles were reversed. Mob mentality makes people do things they would normally never consider acceptable behavior. In her case, it got her killed.

It is not a 911-style commission. It is like the first crappola inquiry into the WuhanFlu coming from a lab. It stared and stopped months ago ‘cause the CCP crippled it into letting them being the only organization that looked into data — other parties were prevented from going into places. This will be the same. The scope will be limited to only following leads that condemn supposed DJTrump supporters. No one will be asked about who shot Ashlie. No one will be asked about who started the crappola story that the copper who died had been attacked. The political affiliations of the ones who entered will not be brought out if they are Antifa/BLM or any other left-leaning orgs. It will be a whitewash of the left and a Mueller-like lie about all non-leftists.
And if the commission passed they would never say a word about her or it. They slithered out and never named the shooter but said there would be no charges filed and the nasty media never once asked anyone. They should have asked pelosi during one of her funny little pressers. They are so in the dems pockets. Eventually something will have to give. Their viewership is slowly dwindling down and they will need to make headlines.

Does this broad from Alaska intend to investigate the role of violent BLM and Antifa agitators on January 6th?
Does she intend to investigate the stolen election, the reason for the protest in the first place?
