A new poll from Competitive Enterprise Institute reveals that Americans' financial dedication to the Green New Deal that leftists have been demanding for several years already is lagging.
Just a little bit.
The CEI results sampled 1,200 registered voters on environmental issues, and the margin of error was 2.83%.

You must be lucky to live in a so-called “red” conservative area.

Right.
This pro-biz poll had to contort itself with a question that people wouldn’t be likely to answer in the affirmative on for much of anything: how much would you personally be willing to spend on it monthly?
Unfortunately we have a dull and manipulated populace this is far too easily led along with the likes of climate change, the Covid masks and lockdowns, and forcing deadly faux vaccines on people.

Or put another way: 2 in 3 will throw money at anything. Especially if there’s a chance some of it will stick to their fingers.

You must be lucky to live in a so-called “red” conservative area.
The suburbs of SE Michigan are more (or less) conservative, especially the crowd I run in.
Though I love my father, it is my mother who passed her conservative genes to me. Her skeptical eye sees through bullshit like few other people I know, including my sometimes clueless but otherwise saintly wife.
GOD bless having a conservative mother if you are lucky enough to have one these days.

It’s 46 here today in Rome, New York, but that’s not unusual. I remember taking a road trip through the south about 23 years ago, spending Memorial Day weekend in Mississippi, then on to New Orleans, only to return to New York State, where the temperature was in the 30’s.

The idea of climate change is here to stay. It is the overriding argument and excuse for this administration to destroy our country.

Most of us wouldn’t spend 50 cents...
NONE of these Climate Drama Queens have been right about even one forecast... not Gore, not Gates, not Mr. Hockey Sticks...
NOT ONE of their ‘future calamities’ has come true.

Our area is commie red. Lots of fights for me on NextDoor. Lots of virtue-signalling signs everywhere.
My parents were very conservative, and I had that upbringing in this area. It’s much worse now since the massive “development” in the last 20 years, but it’s always leaned liberal since my lifetime. After all, it’s one of the original HOA “planned” towns - all commie and attracts the DC grifters.

Sorry to hear that... On the street where one of my farm fields is (and where we're going to build a house) the informal 'HOA' consists of like minded men with tractors and guns...
Works out surprisingly well!

Here’s the poll question:
If you could spend a dollar to rain on plants that need water, save polar bears in Africa and make birds with broken wings fly, would you?
Yes or no?
