Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) took several jabs at former President Trump during an address at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Thursday, lamenting that voters "will not be impressed by the sight of yes-men and flatterers flocking to Mar-a-Lago."

Ryan also referred to the end of Trump's presidency as "dishonorable and disgraceful"

"Even worse, it was horrifying to see a presidency come to such a dishonorable and disgraceful end," Ryan said, adding that the 2020 elections had left Republicans "powerless" in Washington.

Don’t have time to read all the replies, but here’s the thing:

The reason the GOP hates DJT is he is what used to be called a “Blue Dog Democrat.”

He has few things in common with establishment GOP other than tax cuts and defense increases.

But they want endless wars we can’t afford and trade arrangements that we REALLY can’t afford.

Little Eddie Munster.... what an incredible waste of air and full of spite and venom. Incapable of conservatism. Was on the Gang of 8 Intel as Speaker— knew everything about the anti-Trump Coup, and helped actuate it. All because he and Romney are morons, and greedy ones at that.

The events of the past 5 years have proven most GOP politician don’t care what the voters think.

That's false. Most GOP politicians actually support Trump. Most GOP members of Congress opposed impeachment. That gets lost in the angry anti-RINO rhetoric, but it is the truth. I saw a bunch of GOP controlled state organizations move to condemn those who supported impeachment, but I have yet to see one move to condemn those who opposed it.

It's unfair to broad-brush condemn elected Republicans in general when most of them continue to support Trump's agenda. That kind of rhetoric helps nobody but the left because it seeks to splinter the only viable opposition that exists.

Might ask— WHO at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library BOOKED this idiot? We need to find this out. This is NO Ronald Reagan.

This in CA or did the Hill get it wrong as a sponsored dinner at the Repub Governors meeting sponsored by Ronald Reagan Library— either way, it is completely out of sync with Reagan.

Paul Ryan...never had solutions, became(or always was)part of the problem.

A low-life like Biden made him look like a school-boy wearing plaid knickers.

Nothing else need be said of this $$$ell-out.

Look no further than Paul Ryan if you want to know why the wall was not finished in Trump’s term.

Pelosi will fund more wall than Ryan ever did. I guess that makes here “conerservative.” Haha.

As opposed to the “yes men and flatterers” who flocked to Crawford, Texas to worship at the feet of a congenital idiot and proud recipient of a DUI.

This coming from a man (I use that term loosely) who effectively has “YES” tattooed on his forehead when it comes to the deep state.

Many of us were really impressed with Paul Ryan back in the day. A seemingly smart, conservative young firebrand moving up the chain. What we have witnessed has been the betrayal of this compromised traitor who sold out to the DC cesspool. Him and John Kasich two peas in the same pod.

Actually, they don’t support Trump.

The vote to certify the stolen election was 93-7 in the GOP controlled Senate.

The GOP controlled Senate did not lift a finger in reply to a blatantly partisan hoax impeachment launched by a former Obama NSC staffer sitting at his desk in CIA Langley.

There is 5 more years of non support I could list but that should be sufficient.
