Former President Donald Trump gushed “I am so proud” when then-Attorney General William Barr tapped John Durham to look for widespread wrongdoing by FBI officials in the early stages of its Russia-collusion probe.
That was in May 2019.
Two years later, Mr. Trump and other conservatives mock the investigation that has practically disappeared without an utterance from Mr. Durham or any sign that he has uncovered anything.
“Where’s Durham?” Mr. Trump said in March. “Is he a living, breathing human being? Will there ever be a Durham report?”
Mr. Trump’s about-face is emblematic of the extent to which conservatives have soured on the Durham investigation. Those who once breathlessly predicted the probe would uncover a deep state conspiracy against Mr. Trump have now reduced it to a punchline.
When a poll last month revealed that 67% of Americans are unaware of the Durham probe, some internet jokesters wondered if Mr. Durham himself was among those oblivious to its existence.

It will be interesting to see how it is closed, or if it is closed. As the weeks stretch into months it seems quite possible that we've seen all we will ever see from Durham.
Maybe his "final report" was a three sentence memo to the Assistant AG and it has already been delivered:
"My investigation into the predicate of the Trump Russia investigattion has ended. There is no further action pending.
My duties are now concluded, and you may send my last check to my home address"
Yours Truly, John
PS: Give my regards to James Comey when you see him.
I saw his picture on a milk carton the other day.
Over a similar length of time as the Durham probe, Mr. Mueller filed criminal charges against 34 individuals, including seven Trump associates. His work resulted in 12 others referred for criminal prosecution.
Cut off the funds until there is a result. Quit paying for something we “might” see.
Barr and Durham both should be running with millions of angry good Americans behind them demanding justice under the law to apply to everyone.
They aren’t.
That says a lot.
‘
Durham put his girlfriend, a Never Trumper, in charge and she ran out the clock.
It’s that simple, folks.
‘
He was a joke, just like Barr.
They did their jobs well... long enough to get Bidet elected.
He didn’t, so they abused their positions long enough to help the steal along.
The very last sentences are...
“This failure is a Republican failure. There has been zero pressure on the Justice Department by individual members.” Tom Fitton said.
That tells us all we need to know.
Was there a Russian connection that caused this ?
When our energy resources use are prohibited by political edict from being used which result in thousands losing jobs and reliance on costly imports from foreign sources. Our energy resources which if fully developed would turn out to be a major source of income when exported. Dissasterous results should be expected when such edicts are issued . Those who order and support such decisions should be impeached because of the serious damage being done to the economy.
Durham is probably living the high life in the Virgin Islands as he shops online for his next “Escort”.
Re help steal the election:
That WAS their job apparently... hence, they did their job well.
The only difference between our leaders, both R & D, and the Russian oligarchs is the Cyrillic alphabet.
Conservatives have soured on the entire justice system. That includes all branches of our government. They are all corrupt.
But, it’s important to keep in mind absolutely NONE of those indictments had anything to do with ‘Russia Collusion.’
I don’t think Durham is going to indict anyone. But, if he can indict just one person on the central question he’s investigating, he’ll be miles ahead of what Mueller did.
Milking a paycheck is what it’s called.
Mueller's job was to tarnish Trump, kick up lots of FUD - Fear, Uncertainty and Duobt, and basically spray mud all over him.
The political goal was de-legitimization of Trump and his administration. So, while most Trump supporters stuck with Trump and were not impressed by Mueller, I think the overall anti-Trump operation had some success.
Imagine how strong and popular Trump might have been without the endless investigations, the associates going to prison. I think the character assassination that Mueller was a major part of worked. There was a strong narrative created. Even if you and I think it's all B.S., lots of independent voters got sucked in.
“Trust Barr” said the Qballs.
“Trust Durham” said the Qballs.
Con artists or gullible fools. There are no other choices.

He’s exactly where he was intended — taking up space as a red herring intended to keep the more radical-types believing there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
If he had any integrity at all, he would come forward and admit this was all a damned farce…
Another sham???
