Trump’s 1776 Commission to Reassmble, Tackle Critical Race Theory in History Education

Members of the 1776 Commission, which President Joe Biden disbanded on his first day in White House, are reportedly set to meet again with a renewed focus on combating the teaching of U.S. history based on the Marxist critical race theory.

The advisory commission was established by the Trump administration in November 2020 to celebrate and promote the principles enshrined in the nation’s founding documents. It is commonly seen as a response to The New York Times’ controversial 1619 Project, which argues that the United States was founded as, and remains today, a racist nation.

I suggest they use the series of books available through the Library of Congress, “Letters to Delegates of Congress 1774-1779”. Actual words of our forefathers discussing problems they were having during the Revolution, solving problems, best recipes for making gun powder, which shipwright could turn out ships the quickest, how to evade blockades, how to raise money for the war effort, etc. Fantastic reading once you get the hang of the old-time lingo.

Before the French and Indian War, the New World contained thirteen commercial colonial corporations of Great Britain. After the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1768, the consequences of that struggle caused to emerge the distinct attributes of an American identity associating the colonies with each other; an identity separate from and antagonistic to the Crown and Parliament initiatives.

Following the beginning of the rebellion and as the Constitutional Convention met, the country had already seen six of thirteen colonies free slaves and two others abolish the international slave trade. Such initiatives had been prohibited by the Crown and Parliament, which mandated this universal system of bondage for their charters, so colonial economic activities would support the mercantile policies of the mother country.

Slavery was retained but delegates only agreed to suspend initiatives about this issue by Congress until 1808 and expected it to be dealt with as matter of conscience. I have a copy of James Madison’s notes taken at the Constitutional Convention. Discourses during debates abhorred the institution and no one defended its propriety. Gouverneur Morris of Pennsylvania said, 'It was a nefarious institution. It was the curse of heaven on states where it prevailed. Compare Middle States where a rich and noble civilization marks prosperity and happiness with….great regions of slaves presenting a desert increasing in proportion to these retched beings'. George Mason of Virginia said, 'This infernal traffic originated in the avarice of British merchants…. Slavery discourages arts and manufactures….Every master of slaves is born a petty tyrant….They bring the judgement of heaven on a country. As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world they must be in this'."

Trump’s balls are kept by Kushner and the RINO handlers.
There’s only been one Republican President in the last 100 years with real balls of steel that actually accomplished things for betterment of conservatism and liberty.
