WASHINGTON (AP) - The two Bureau of Prisons workers tasked with guarding Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself in a New York jail have admitted they falsified records, but they will skirt any time behind bars under a deal with federal prosecutors, authorities said Friday.

So what was the "deal?" What did the prosecutors get in return for this gift to the prison guards?
My guess is that the "deal" is the political optics of having "done something."
I would say they found a scapegoat, and then gave them a slap on the wrist. No one will really be held accountable, and hey, if Lin Wood is right that Epstein is still alive, where was the harm?

The murder of Jeffery Epstein as well as Whitey Bulger were part of the same game... we are living a lie right now. Seth Riche as well. We have evil people in Justice and at the DOJ. I think at this point they all know they are evil and have surrendered to it. At some point they might have thought they were good people but now they know they are evil and aren’t even trying any more.

Working as a jail guard is one of the most boring jobs ever. I found that following the routine and procedures made the time pass faster than sitting and watching the clock.
