Ready for Idaho to turn blue? If not, something has to change. Every red county in American will soon have zero say in who is to become president, simply because the urban population is officially overcoming the rural population in every state. Once this happens, it's blue forever.

state naturalization. 10 years minimum. gives these refugees a little time to learn some english.
true. how about state naturalization then. minimum 10 years before youre able to vote in your new state. gives you time to WATCH AND LEARN the ways of the home culture. Cultural invasion is real. People conveniently forget to ask permission before entering someone elses home.
cultural invasion. how about state naturalization? 10 years minimum before youre allowed to vote. gives you time to 1) learn english 2) listen and learn the ways of the home culture. People have no respect. they think they’re entitled to just walk into your house and rearrange your stuff, to put it lightly.
migration = colonialism = cultural invasion. call it what it is.
funny, if only these indoctrinated blue voters realized, the constitution is the most progressive document ever to exist on earth. then we wouldnt be having this argument.
great data. ill have to study this. curious though.... if this is a constitutional issue.... how did nebraska and maine resestablish their EC formula? States are explicitly given the power to determine their election procedures. thats due to separation of powers.
Senators too, are elected by the popular vote.
As are all electors, obliquely, in every state.
Huh?
A "bump" or "bump to the top" or "btt" post is long-time FR-speak. It means the reader doesn't have time to read the article linked in the post, so they "bump" the post, which places it at the top of their individual ping page so they can read it later.
This suggestion is worth debate and consideration by the GOP to analyze if dividing the EC votes will indeed benefit Constitutional conservative voters. Oh, wait—the GOP is the stupid party.
Wrong.
It's a feature, one might say it's the very definition of "democracy".
Unless you are willing to fight against democracy with every ounce of energy you can spare, you have to be willing to live with the results.
Good comment.
The Founders opposed democracy and tried to build a system that could stand against it. Unfortunately, we pretty much lost states rights after the Civil War, and then the 17th Amendment ruined the Senate.
I do think a new Constitution is inevitable, establishing a Second Republic of the United States (which I think will be smaller and not have 50 states). I would hope that the next iteration builds in even stronger defenses against democracy and also against a political elite which is *ahem* serving the mob that gave them power.
