Today you have federal intel agencies aimed inward and politicized (possible thanks to the post 9-11 era). No different than the BS 6 January “insurrection,” where it’s a political show and they are using federal law enforcement and intel in a way to weaken the opponent, but in the meantime you had the director of the FBI question if ANTIFA is even a viable organization, in Germany they stuck the BfV on the AFD and those that they see in political opposition.
There is a good chance this is blown out of proportion. I.e he is made an example of (fear), a threat is defined (the people are stirred up), the political opposition is weakened (AfD and others).
Irony is that today you have folks in parties like the Greens speaking out in support of the heavy handed use of law enforcement, the massive invasive techniques by intel, and this was a party with ties to the Baader Mainhof and RAF, ties to Russian intel, advocating riots, where you had their most prominent leaders with pictures of them clubbing cops...

Funny how things change once in power and you want to stay there.
If I had to guess, and I’m not on top of this 100% so I could be wrong, but this is also largely a political hit job where those in power don’t like the emerging and rapidly growing competition.

On the weapon charge, he would have a problem, but was all done in Austria, so that “crime” ought there...under Austrian law.
As for signing up as a fake Syrian...it will be curious how you convict the guy without showing incompetence on governments part.
The kill theory comes from a list of names in his residence, however...rumor has it that there no title on the list of names. Value if true, just speculation.
My understanding is he didn't have any illegal memorabilia in Germany, all his Nazi related material was within the law.
He definitely broke the rules by taking money meant for refugees, but the Merkel regime will have to stretch to pin attempted political assassination on him.
Most probably the whole affair is meant as diversionary tactics to draw public attention away from the true enemy: the left-alien-internationalist power-complex.
