Around 71 per cent of people have had at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, and 62 per cent have been fully vaccinated. Of these, 57 per cent have received the Sinopharm vaccine, and 43 per cent AstraZeneca.
Despite this, there has been a recent surge in cases, with 37 per cent of new active cases and 20 per cent of hospital cases being fully vaccinated.

Nah…Indians would never employ fake documentation to show they’re qualified for something. /sarc
“The question I have is, why are different companies creating their own vaccines and formulations?”

Capitalism? Free enterprise? Competition? It’s a real mystery, isn’t it. /sarc
...plus...nobody knows....I had the real flu back in the 90s. Almost killed me. No one else I worked with in a secure building, nor my 2 roommates ever had it! Why?
Probably your answer.
If vaccines are the only source of immunity, perhaps.
Sinopharm—Remember the adulterated dog bisquits? dry wall? melamine substituted for protein in food?
Were they nuts to rely on Sinopharm??
Good point! Does anyone really know how the flu is contracted by humans?...or how it’s carried? I don’t think anyone really knows. Fauci pretends he knows everything but it was obvious to anyone with half a brain no one really knows anything for sure...other than that some people are dying from the vaccines!
BECAUSE THE VACCINE THEY USE ISN”T ANY GOOD! Where did they get it from China? Russia? (Well, I read the Ruskie one worked). China “Won” the Biowar—Lets see if they can win the BIO-PEACE!

I get that. Multiple companies produce the flu vaccine. We never hear that it is the Pfizer flu vaccine or the J&J flu vaccine. The vaccine is the same across the board. Shouldn’t it be the same with the COVID vaccine? Isn’t the formula the same? Shouldn’t the method of delivering the vaccine be the same? Why does the J&J vaccine only require one shot while the others require two?

the real question is why Singapore, they used Pfizer? Or more specifically it was used in certain populations. what was used elsewhere in the country?
————-
They originally used Sinovac (as did the Philippines) as Pfizer, Moderna and AZ were not available.
In Manila and Davao, they had a huge spike in cases (I’m thinking Sinopharm and Sinovac actually infected people). No Sinocrap vaccination in Cebu and very little cases.
The seven day moving average for the number of daily COVID deaths in Seychelles has been bouncing between zero and one for the past four months.
Where does natural immunity fit into that calculation? I don’t see it.
