I find it interesting how much they are NOT saying about him.
I wonder what he really did?
Court records allege 55-year-old Jeffrey Ferris drove a Jeep towards several children last year and assaulted someone with a handgun. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, terrorizing and using a firearm in a violent felony.

Taking odds on this being related to mom absconding with the kids and the authorities not doing anything about it, and him taking matters into his own hands and ending up in court.

This morning news out of Fargo leads me to believe that the guy was an Indian. His offense and home of record is Belcourt, ND which is deep in the res. FBIs and fed court handle reservation crime.
