Dr. Anthony Fauci on Tuesday said it is “perfectly reasonable and understandable” for certain businesses to leave mask mandates in place given that they “don’t have any way of knowing who is vaccinated and who’s not vaccinated,” referring to it as both a “problem” and “issue.”

“I think that’s where the confusion arises because there are some establishments who are saying, ‘Well, I’m going to have people coming into my establishment or my store or what have you. Some are going to be vaccinated, some are not. I’m not going to know the difference,’” he said.

“Some might be infected and might actually have a risk of infecting someone else,” Fauci added. “And under those circumstances, it’s perfectly reasonable and understandable for the owner of that establishment to say, ‘You know, we’re going to keep the mask mandate up.’ And that’s what we’re seeing"

The local Home Depot had a mask requirement - but they NEVER enforced it. You could go up maskless to their employees and swap jokes if you wanted.

Home Depot is among the latest to drop its policy requiring all customers to wear a face-covering in the stores.

They never had any such policy.

I have been going into Home Depot shamelessly flaunting my naked face and they do nothing.

Better late than never. I have gone to Home Depot 2x month in the last few years in So Cal. In April 2020 there was a stupid man at the front door telling everyone to put on a mask or leave. In May 2020 the stupid man was gone and I stopped wearing a mask. One year later, it is sad to see people still wearing a mask as if it does any good. Masks are useless, viruses are not influenced by masks alone.

I had to replace a TV. Went to Best Buy in a state with no mask mandate in a 70% Trump county with no mandates. This was after the CDC guidance on no masks. They would not let me in with no mask. I told the guardian on the door; “I am going to buy a TV today, do you really want to run me off since there is no longer a mandate?” They said yes. From there, I went to a Sam’s in a county where there is a mask mandate. I went in with no mask and bought my TV.

It continues to amaze me that companies are willing to destroy their revenue to virtue signal. Where are the class action shareholder lawsuits?
