No charges will be filed against North Carolina sheriff's deputies involved in the fatal April shooting of Andrew Brown Jr., a 42-year-old [black] man whose family claims he was "executed" as he sat in his car.
Elizabeth City, North Carolina, District Attorney Andrew Womble said at a news conference on Tuesday morning that the three deputies who opened fire on Brown, a father of seven, were justified in their use of deadly force because Brown drove his vehicle toward them and allegedly made contact with them twice before they fired their weapons.

Target semis being loaded with new flat screens as we speak. 🐫💩
Why is it important to state how many children a person has “fathered”? Why not post how many children the father actually financially supports, or how many hours a week he works, if the journalists wants to throw in a sympathy factor.
“Brown drove his vehicle toward them and allegedly made contact with them twice before they fired their weapons”
Guess that’s the new standard. If the perp runs you over, you have to wait for them to put it in reverse and back over you again before you can open fire.
I am pleased that the DA is not allowing political pressure to affect his legal responsibilities, which is to enforce NC law.
But to be realistic, NC and probably other areas as well can expect dramatic violence in reaction.
Not complaining and defitely not criticizing...just warning to be watchful.
And carry.
Because the number zero is boring time after time and viewers think they're watching a re-run.
Nearly all the women in the 70%+ "born to an unmarried black mother" category have to raise the children without any help. Except "the village" Hillary said it takes to raise a child: aka the taxpayers. All such children have been declared "at risk" statistically.
It was 16% between 1950 and 1954.
In 1965, 24 percent of black infants and 3.1 percent of white infants were born to single mothers.(Brookings.edu website--in an article co-written by Janet Yellin!)
Irresponsible fathers should step up or why should anyone care about their selfish political concerns in demonstrations?
They going to release all the bodycam footage.
Sympathy.
If Brown ran over someone that would have been the first bodycam footage the police released.
Couldn’t they just have shot him in the leg?
Orange/loaded and locked.
The DA was on the TV for a long, long time laying out everything.
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Not complaining and defitely not criticizing...just warning to be watchful.
We are traveling to Bryson City NC next week and since it is a reciprocal state, we will be well prepared albeit not expecting any problems out that way.
I can’t think of a safer place.
In NC the law does not permit law enforcement to release any body-cam video’s. They are released to the victim’s family and anyone appearing in the video, not to the press (public).

Oh, just give the MSM time to ramp up the hysterics. He’ll likely get his mind right before this is over...
It does with a court order.
“..shot him in the leg?...”
He was in a parked car surrounded by LE and he tried to escape by driving away. One deputy had opened the driver side door and could have been injured as the perp backed up and then attempted to drive across an empty lot. An escaping felon with a long, long rap sheet of drug dealing and resisting arrest. Court cases at every level back up the deputies.
Sympathy, though also descriptive. If he were a M.D., they would include that too, but strangely enough these cases tend to be thugs and not professionals.
