Senate Republicans are actively courting New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu to challenge Sen. Maggie Hassan in next year’s midterms.

Hassan (D-NH) was governor of the state until 2016, when she opted to challenge then-Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) instead of run for a third term.

She won, and Sununu, a Republican, went on to beat Democrat Colin Van Ostern by more than two points in the gubernatorial race.

‘WE need to pick our battles.’

What’s this WE? Can you lead a horse to water? What if that dog doesn’t hunt?

As a New Hampshire resident, I think he is doing a great job as governor and would be delighted to support him in unseating the Arab terrorist!

We are stuck with Hassan because of Ayott’s fecklessness..

How did lilly white NH get two Arabs as its elite's fighting over a U.S. Senate seat? It's curious. Personally, I've has enough of the Sununus who conspire with the Bushes, who conspire with the Clintons, etc.

Why? He can win, and give us back the Senate majority.

I never knew I was. It is just a testament to NH that in place long known for being WASPish, that Arab-Americans have become prominent. (The Sununus are of Lebanese-Christian ancestry, and I don't know much about Maggie Hassan's husband.) So much for America being a fundamentally racist place...

I will hold my nose and vote for him in the general election. But, I will actively work AGAINST him in the primary. He did a horrible job with the pandemic.
