ROME — U.S. climate czar John Kerry met with Pope Francis in the Vatican this weekend in preparation for the upcoming U.N. climate conference in Glasgow.
The pope “is one of the great voices of reason and compelling moral authority on the subject of the climate crisis,” Kerry told Vatican News. “He’s been ahead of the curve. He’s been a leader. His encyclical Laudato Si is really a very, very powerful document, eloquent and morally very persuasive.”

The Pope [any Pope] is a "compelling moral authority" when he agrees with liberals. When he doesn't, he's reactionary and behind the times.
The real "compelling moral authority" to Kerry and his ilk is liberal orthodoxy. They recognize no other god.

The ImPopester isn’t even a moral authority on Catholic church teachings, much less on the non-crisis that is the climate.

Says the man who sought, and received an annulment from his first wife 1 1/2 years after he’d married his second wife, thus delegitmizing an 18 year old marriage, and two children.

Just because both are deluded regarding man's ability to impact the climate, doesn't mean there is, in fact, a "moral" component to climate.
Better that Pope Francis focus on the moral component of homosexual behavior, especially among the clergy.

“And I appreciate that the pope doesn’t mention my private jet flights,” Kerry added. “I really like flying around in big, pollution-emitting private jets!”
As an aside, here’s a fun fact: Private jets are estimated to emit upward of 40 times as much carbon per passenger compared to commercial jets.

The Pope is an ignorant twit on climate science. The face that Kerry thinks of him as a “moral authority” on it makes Kerry just as ignorant.

Morally speaking, Pope Francis is at least the giant bag of hot wind that Kerry is.

The Pope seems to be much like John Kerry, in that they are both self discrediting, via their inane statements and actions. As far as the pope is concerned, all that needs to be said is... NEXT!
