On Nov. 18, 1963, in the midst of a whirlwind campaign trip, President John F. Kennedy told Secret Service supervisor Floyd Boring that agents riding on special boards installed near the trunk of his car should drop back and tail him from a follow-up vehicle instead.
“It’s excessive, Floyd. And it’s giving the wrong impression to people,” said Kennedy. “We’ve got an election coming up. The whole point is for me to be accessible to the people.”
Kennedy’s bristling at the proximity of the agents was not uncommon for those being protected by the Secret Service, especially US presidents. But after his assassination four days later, some agents wondered if that extra car-length prevented them from saving JFK’s life.

I wonder how world history would have changed if Oswald only got the first Kennedy non-fatal shot, not the fatal headshot.
I am not convinced that Oswald was the lone killer. If you look carefully at the route, as the car slowed down to a crawl to make that turn in from of the depository it came in to a perfect kill shot zone and there could have been 3 rifles involved.
The best movie I ever saw that used that scenario was a film that came out in 1973 called “Executive Action”, with Burt Lancaster and Robert Ryan, it was a very chilling movie and was actually pulled from theaters after 2 weeks because of how it presented the assassination. It’s on Amazon Prime.

SEPTEMBER 28, 2000
If you drink in Dallas, you know what Bray is talking about. Wet and dry areas lay scattered across the landcsape in a seemingly random pattern. Within dry areas, private clubs may serve alcohol to members, and the Unicards serve as membership cards to many of these so-called clubs, which to the naked eye look suspiciously like the bars and restaurants serving hooch in wet areas—mainly because that’s exactly what they are. Becoming a member of a club that uses the Unicard is only slightly easier than getting into a community college.
...To an outsider, the fact that bars exist in dry areas at all seems odd. But a private club doesn’t require a vote by the population, and more than 1,000 clubs operate in the 16 counties in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
And Susan Cheever wrote a book about America and its booze addiction and claims that his Secret Service detail was not sharp on November 22 because many had been out drinking until 4 AM the previous night/morning.
Yes, at the Carousel Club, owned by Jack Ruby.
No, the Secret Servicemen were drinking and partying all night at the CELLAR, a downtown Fort Worth bar as JFK and Jackie were staying at what is not the Fort Worth Hilton Hotel.
For years I rejected this but in the last few years I suspect they killed him or worked with another party who killed him and LBJ was in on it. The deep state took out a sitting president and I sincerely believe that had Trump won re-election they would have taken him out. The CIA is about protecting the CIA and their globalist masters not the USA.
Supposedly “classified” excuse again/as usual with most everything VERY VERY VERY unfortunately.
CIA is EVIL INCARNATE!!
I bet JFK didn’t say/didn’t ask for that.
