Even though I retired from the active Army in 1993 and as an Army civilian historian in 2017, I am still bound because of my clearance level that I held up to my 2017 retirement, I must submit any book or article I might write that covers military related topics since 1947 for review. If he did not do this, then he can be in trouble for violating the NDA he signed as part of his security clearances. And this is even if he clearly did NOT write about classified information. LTG H. R. McMaster had to get similar review of his 1997 book “Dereliction of Duty.”
But if he did submit it and it was approved, then this action is definitely wrong.

Communism according to Marx was never meant to be instituted in a more undeveloped/mostly still peasant country. It was to be a takeover of mostly industrialized, already highly developed countries with a lot of intellectual elites turned left by love of the Marxist ideology (such as are the current circumstances in our Country). We are ripe for it, the perfect storm.
The Russian revolution was a fluke, and a crime of opportunity brought about by unique circumstances at the time of WWI. The Marxists took what they could get, and the poor folk of Russia were the vehicle they used to institute their socialist ideology. But Marxism was really meant for a society such as ours. Highly developed, and ripe for the plucking.
