States continued a nationwide trend of enacting pro-life laws in 2021, with the Texas legislature passing a “heartbeat” bill this week, and Montana enacting funding restrictions on abortion providers.
The Texas state Senate on Thursday passed a ban on abortions after the detection of a fetal heartbeat, which can occur as early as six weeks into pregnancy. The measure now heads to Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) desk, where he is expected to sign it.

Our mortal bodies, those who belong to Christ, will rise first......our bodies....( our Christian souls return immediately to God upon death)
Can you imagine 60+ million babies rising.......those babies have been disposed every way imaginable.........but they will rise!

I'm genuinely surprised at your dismissal at this bit of positive news. We can all agree that election reform is the political issue of our time, but I don't think the saving of at least some innocent lives can be seen as anything but a cause to rejoice amid this present darkness. It is surely not "meaningless."
The number is likely 75 million or higher, and that is just in the US.

I’m glad for the progress. This will save many lives which I am thankful for though I still consider those who are too young to have achieved a heart beat to be human and worthy of life also.
The reason it is meaningless is because if the elections are not fixed laws like this will be quickly overturned.
The democrats are preparing to pack courts and ram their perverse (In the litteral meaning of the word) agenda down our throats.
If the elections are not fixed then we will be in a hot civil war within 18 months.
We stand upon the brink or a great dark tyranny. Either the left goes down or we do over this. This is the hill to die on. This is the place where nothing law matters. This is the issue where our country lives or dies.
It is just that simple.
Maybe it will, but maybe it won't. That remains to be seen. It is better to attempt to pass a law like this with the aim of saving lives. The alternative is to not even attempt it because it will be taken to court, in which case no attempt to save those lives is made at all. There's no reason why we can't work toward fixing the elections AND attempt to pass life saving legislation. It's not an either/or situation.

When one can kill the unborn and innocent, one is capable of the most heinous of acts. Abortion is just the entry port to all acts of genocide. It makes it seem so easy.
