The so-called “entertainment” industry is run by perverts.
Why yes, yes it is.
If they could clean up the entertainment industry and political offices they could close the EEOC. I’m sure the woke corporate environment is totally politically correct. /s
People want to be rich and famous.
They’ll put up with abuse to get there.
Then they need a shrink.
George Burns was right: show biz is a horrible bitch goddess.

In the 1935 film The Little Colonel, Shirley Temple tap-danced down a staircase with Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, and into the hearts of millions. The curly-haired, dimple-cheeked child sang sweetly of life on the good ship Lollipop, but Temple’s real life was anything but smooth sailing. From the first time she appeared on the screen in 1932, she was mistreated and abused both psychologically and sexually. Hollywood tried to hide the flagrant abuses, but many have been well-documented.
Before she retired at the age of 22 in 1950, Temple made dozens of Hollywood films. To accomplish this, she constantly had to fight off lecherous Hollywood moguls who forced themselves on her. On top of that, her first husband cheated on her repeatedly, and her father spent the fortune she had earned without her knowledge or consent. Despite living a life filled with turmoil, Temple wrote in her memoir, Child Star: An Autobiography, that she emerged from this series of traumatic events unscarred. Hollywood is full of tragic stories, but this one thankfully has a happy ending.
***The so-called “entertainment” industry is run by perverts.***
Since before the days of Fatty Arbuckle.
And hypocrisy.
Read Chaplin’s bio or see the movie, pretty upfront about that.
Chaplin was something of a perv, he was really into very young women.
They are Not nice people.
In accordance to the Cancel Culture, can we now cancel the Hollywood culture?
Yet, these are the same people that conspicuously consume resources (private jets, multiple mansions, etc.) and tell us how we should live and who we should vote for.
It has to be shut down. That’s the only way to end the torture for victims and viewers. What are they waiting for?
I worked in the business for 20 years. Yes, it can be hell but you just have to suck it up. It weeds out the weak from the strong.
The State of Georgia plays host to lots of movies. About 2000 miles from Hollywood, Cumming, Ga. was the location for The Vampire Diaries. Berry College Rome Ga. played host for filming of Sweet Home Alabama, and more than 50 other movies. Athens, Ga. was the setting for the TV show Breaking Away. So, maybe it is best to film elsewhere. And of course, it would be better if the perverts who control Hollywood would stay away. Or get arrested.
I’ve had more than one encounter with some of those folks over the years. But NOT worked in it as a profession.
They may have to hire Ricky Gervais for another two-hour slut-shaming lecture. With a comedic theme, of course.
How about a two-week intervention/rehab treatment? You can enjoy catered cuisine, massages, beauty tips and scheduled workshops on how guilty and entitled you are.
Neither of these things will "cure" anything but you'll feel better about yourself. And that's really the important thing, isn't it?

as a producer here in L.A, you betcha. I laugh at these hypocrites like uma thurman who bitched about weinstein aping her 2 decades later? when she easily could have said something right after the incident.
Sounds like a marketing strategy for a high end workshop dispensing pure SB. What a great way to make money.
