Exactly...when I had to unexpectedly ship out for WESTPAC, I don't
remember having a choice about getting the Plague 3 shot in one arm and
the Plague 2 booster in the other...sick for 3 freaking days. I don't seem to
remember having a choice about having my perfectly straight wisdom
teeth jack-hammered out of my skull by some Navy Ensign right out of
butcher school in Boot either. As my old Gunny used to say: "USMC
stands for 'U Signed the Mfing Contract' so stop your bitchin'"
This CO is perfectly with in his rights to do this and I would argue that he
is a bit soft because he is giving his troops a choice. My old CO would just
have ordered his Marines to get it.

Cannot lawfully order US Military Personnel to be guinea pigs in an experimental procedure.
Glad to see you are not in a leadership position, as your way of thinking is both Draconian and dangerous.

This drug is Experimental!
This means Informed Consent is necessary.
It has not gone through trials- which is what is happening now.
It was given Emergency Use Authorization.
It is not classified as FDA approved.

Nope.
A vaccine under EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) cannot be forced on a military member until the President signs a waiver making it mandatory. And this president has not signed that waiver.

This is not leadership. He should order the troops the get it, period. Since it’s optional there should not be negative coercion. I wasn’t given choices about the shots I had to take when I deployed to Afghanistan.
This is going to lead to soldiers with expanded leave amounts above 60 days, all they have to do is show is the denied leave forms to qualify.

No, the commander is not within his rights. The wuflu shot is not an approved drug. Emergency use authorized only. The commander is coercing the troops to participate in a drug trial, which is illegal.
The shots you cite were approved, not just authorized.

When I was in the USN during the 80's, the command would send me and others to the dentist for checkups. Two times the Ensign dentist would say that the wisdom teeth has to come out, so stop by the clerk and schedule an appointment. I would say yes sir, get out of the chair, walk right out and back to the ship. I did this because I saw many of my fellow sailors come back and hit the rack for 2-3 days, bleeding. The third time I went, after being told that my wisdom teeth need to be pulled, I asked if I had a choice in the matter. The Ensign said yes and I replied that the wisdom teeth stay. He talked about they may cause trouble later on in life and I replied I will deal with it then. That was over 30 years ago and I never had a problem with the wisdom teeth.
You do have choices.

He cannot legally require the troops to get these shots, unless they are fully approved and licensed, which they are NOT. Not a single ChinaVirus "vaccine" is actually done, every single one is either under an EUA, or even farther behind in development.
And even once one of them is licensed (at least a year or two), I don't know how much leeway a commander has to order such things unless it's already Army policy.
