Droves of Republicans are looking to primary the embattled Republican Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in the midterms after the Republican Conference recently ousted her from Republican House leadership.
With over a year left before the Wyoming deadline to file to run in the August 2022 Republican primary against Cheney, reports show “already at least six Republicans plan to run against her.”
Recent poll numbers show Cheney to be in trouble in the next election. The Club for Growth PAC poll shows the congresswoman with a net negative image. Cheney’s unfavorable rating stands at 65 percent with a net rating of -36 percent.
In addition, 52 percent said they would rather vote for her opponent regardless of who runs against her, giving hope to challengers.

Six challengers is five too many.
Just go ahead and quit you bitch
Better settle on just a couple of candidates, otherwise, she’ll be back in, or a Democrat will win.
She doesn’t want the party to be about Trump. She wants it to be about her.
Ideas? What are those?
So many candidates? Is this GOPe way to dilute the votes and reelect Cheney?
“already at least six Republicans plan to run against her.”
Sweet!
Liz can only win if she changes parties and becomes the Dems new BFF.
Yup. And it's why President Trump needs to vet them for MAGAness, and pick one to champion.
PDJT say he will endorse one candidate. I believe all the challengers will be courting Trump for his endorsement. Once he gives it they will drop out of the primary.
We need ONE challenger.
A crowded field will let her slip back in.
Yes.
Works for Flimsey Grahamnesty and others every time.
THat is a good point. While it is deeply satisfying to see half a dozen republicans ready to campaign against Liz, don’t dilute the anti-Cheney vote or confuse the voters.
Or the Wyoming legislature can pass a law requiring a runoff if no one gets 50%. Then her goose is cooked for sure. But she definitely can win if there is a crowded primary.
Ditto. Droves is a problem.
On the other hand make them work for their vote and prove worthy.
His track record of endorsements leaves much to be desired, he needs somebody to vet them that knows what TransRepublicans are.
Republican’s or Conservatives?
I don’t think she’ll run again...too many lucrative offers on the table for her from the communist media.
We don’t need runoffs. Waste of time. Got us a losing senate seat in Ga. Don’t forget Ala. If she wins we deserve it. No leadership position for her.
