I actually think Trump was even better than Reagan. And I started out as a “never trumper”.
I’ve only voted “for” a candidate twice in my life: 1980 and 2020. Notice I didn’t include 1984 or 2016.
Trump is the ONLY president in my lifetime I liked more AFTER his first four years than before.
Ditto here. I didn't support Trump until the GOP nomination in 2016, and am since very glad I did. His policy positions are absolutely in line with mine.

Trump is better than Reagan. It’s one thing to fight communism abroad. It’s quite another when it’s in your backyard.

In all fairness, if Ronald Regan hadn’t deteriorated so much he would have finished far better.

Trump was fantastic.
But you have to measure presidents by their challenges. Reagan had to defeat the Soviet Union without blowing up the world. Yet he did it. In fact, despite the few casualties in Grenada (I don’t think you can put the Marines in Lebanon in the same Cold War category), Reagan defeated the USSR almost without losing a man. This is by far the most titanic military victory in human history, dwarfing Napoleon’s surrounding of the Austrians at Ulm (100,000 surrendered) by vast orders of magnitude.
I was for Ted Cruz the first go around. Then I came around to Trump. Reagan was a great man and President....but Trump is a fighter and accomplished a great deal. I am soooo glad he is still fighting. I just read that 100 RINOs are writing a letter to be read Thurs. THEY ARE LEAVING THE GOP! Yipeee. Trump is still draining the Swamp! Maybe old Liz can now be the head of their new party: The LOSERTERIANS!

I agree. I admire President Trump just as I admired President Reagan.
President Reagan, I believe, told Donald Trump to run for president. He saw a quality in him.
And Liz Cheney can go ... well, you know. She is on the wrong side of history.
