Consumer prices for the month of April rose the most since September 2008, an indication of soaring demand dovetailing with continued supply chain interruptions, according to the latest monthly data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The Consumer Price Index, a measurement of price changes for items ranging from food to clothing to pet products, jumped by 0.8 percent in April, beating expectations of 0.2 percent, or 2.3 percent year over year.

The decline is faster than expected.
Biden voters still aren’t hurting enough to care.
It’s all good atleast mean Tweets is gone.
Gee, who would have thought that pushing out huge amounts of currency upon a partly closed industrial and service base would have blasted prices much higher? I think I read that somewhere in basic Econ 101.
As people eventually see their gains in their retirement plans fade, gas prices skyrocket, personal freedoms denied, they can rest easy that the Orange man was banned from tweeting.
They’ve been spiking since before April. Gas was on a tear before the pipeline activity. My gas was $2.49 two months ago. Now some locations over a dollar increase. Things are going as planned apparently. :-{
...or 2.3 percent year over year.

More like 2.3 % month over month.
Housing up 20% over 2020. Insane. Even pre-financial crisis in 2008, housing prices never increased 20 % in a single year.
Lumber prices up 300% in less than a year.

Most Biden voters are one issue voters that concerns them only. They don’t give a damn about anything else let alone the country.
The remaining voters (idiots) voted for him because he wasn’t Trump with nothing else in mind.
A year from now these will seem like the good old days.
“Will their be more stimulus checks to help the voters pay the higher prices?”

Meanwhile, the masses will praise the government for keeping them afloat and will vote Dem. Until it all breaks down. And it will break down.
They left off a zero.
“Meanwhile, the masses will praise the government for keeping them afloat and will vote Dem. Until it all breaks down.”
News Flash! Dem voters will never stop voting D, Even if their world comes crashing down and, as their usefulness comes to an end, the commissars come to escort them out back to individually to receive their quietus shots, they will not change. The only way to get rid of them is attrition.
“The only way to get rid of them is attrition.”
Then all is lost. The left controls the educational system. Every year there are more leftist voting, while conservatives die off. This is one of the few aspects of being old that’s not so bad.
Carter finally got his second term.
Perfect time to add more taxes, aint it Creepy-Pinko-Joe?
Maybe so. Maybe slavery and absolute rule is the natural order of things... If so, the USA has had a good run.
The MSM obviously does not want to use the word “INFLATION”. Look how they side skipped around that word.
