On Monday, the Virginia Republican Party nominated Glenn Youngkin as their gubernatorial candidate to take on a Democrat contender.
However, Youngkin had previously worked as a co-CEO for the Carlyle Group, a private equity firm with deep ties to the Bush family.
Youngkin along with fellow co-CEO Kewsong Lee announced after the death of George Floyd that they would match donations for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), and the NAACP Legal Fund.

The Carlyle Group is also heavily invested in ChiCom businesses. I recall hearing that they are perhaps the top US investor in Chinese businesses with ties to the CCP.
Sounds like he’s a member in good standing of the Managerial State.

The nomination process is over. The “Bullelephant” had their chance. The voters rejected their choice.
