Remember when the computerized signals and track switching system went down in the main terminal of Taggart Transcontinental Railroad?
And Dagny Taggart sent out signalmen with lanterns and switch operators to switch the tracks manually, like in the old days, while she and Eddie Willers gave orders to them via runners, radios and telephones? And she got the trains running again, and headed to the right places?
I guess Colonial Pipeline, like just about every other big business these days doesn’t have any Dagny Taggerts or even an Eddie Willers working for them.
