Huh, Reagan passed way. Hard to guess what he would have thought.

So Reagan would have said, “The all Republicans who impeached me under corrupt, false pretenses?”

I don’t think so.

Well, regarding the way a LOT of stuff has been going down the last 60 years I’d say a LOT of our founders have been wearing themselves out rolling in their graves.

Someone asked me to write a letter for a time capsule that is going to be opened in Los Angeles a hundred years from now, on our Tricentennial. It sounded like an easy assignment. They suggested I write something about the problems and issues of the day.And I set out to do so, riding down the coast in an automobile, looking at the blue Pacific out on one side and the Santa Ynez Mountains on the other, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it was going to be that beautiful a hundred years from now as it was on that summer day.

And then as I tried to write -- let your own minds turn to that task. You’re going to write for people a hundred years from now who know all about us. We know nothing about them. We don’t know what kind of a world they’ll be living in. And suddenly I thought to myself, "If I write of the problems, they’ll be the domestic problems of which the President spoke here tonight," the challenges confronting us: the erosion of freedom that has taken place under Democrat rule in this country; the invasion of private rights; the controls and restrictions on the vitality of the great free economy that we enjoy. These are our challenges that we must meet.

Ronald Reagan, GOP Convention, August 19, 1976

Reagan would hate Liz Cheney.

Reagan could never have made it to the office during Trump’s term....”never criticize another republican” ...ponder that one!

His back would have been mostly knife steel.

That might be true, however Reagan did not see the treachery of the last 30 years by the Bush League Republicans.

This sentiment was in play when Bush jr was in office and it got us the longest war, the nazi sounding dept of Homeland Security, an astronomical european bank bailout on the backs of US taxpayers, and the constant threat of amnesty for illegals.

It’s going to be really funny now watching all these liberals fall over themselves to start defending Reagan now.

It’s the same as pro-abortionists saying, “Jesus would have approved of abortion.” The reason they say things like this is, they live in a world where the approval of others is paramount. Gaining that approval is the reason for virtue signally; another attempt at getting approval.

It’s hard to say one way or the other what Reagan would have approved of. And, even if he did or didn’t my approval is the only thing that concerns me. If I was at dinner with Reagan and he wanted to discuss it, I’d certainly listen to his position with an open mind. But, failing that, I can’t care less what he would or wouldn’t have approved of.

The globalist/left fears a reinvigorated nationalist Republican Party that represents decent, rational Americans who will not ascent to the loss of their liberties and the transformation of their country into a socialist cog in a world government controlled by the elites and ruthless foreigners. A vibrant Republican Party cannot have a person like Liz Cheney in a position of leadership. She allied herself with the vile Democrats by voting for an impeachment based on the Russian hoax, other phony charges and most of all meant to destroy politically a President who advocated and practiced America first policies. Liz Cheney must be purged. Also agressive primaries must be used to rid a vibrant Republican Party of people who do not share the values of the rank and file.

#1 Reagan said never speak evil of a fellow Republican. Last time I checked Trump is a Republican President and one of the most successful in fact. Cheney and her menagerie of fellow RINOs have been goring the party leader since he declared himself a candidate. I doubt Reagan would
approve of Cheney et al.

#2. Cheney and her ilk are far worse than the limousine liberals Reagan faced. They are more like the limousine liberals of the Goldwater betrayal- Rockefeller, Keating, Javits, Case, Freylinghuyson, Scranton, George Romney ( sire of Mittens).

“Cheney’s only crime of course is her belief that the GOP needs to wash its hands of Donald Trump,”

That’s not her only crime.

Reagan was opposed to Republicans attacking other Republicans ... just like Cheney did.

RR wouldn’t have allowed a RINO like her to have gotten a leadership position in Congress.

#nevertrumps don’t deserve a seat at the table much less a leadership position.
