“Caitlyn” (aka Bruce) Jenner has announced his candidacy for governor of California. The question is should conservatives support him? After all, Jenner stands for lower taxes, common-sense border security, and less government intrusion in our daily lives. Surely this would be better than the tyrannical rule of Gavin Newsom, wouldn’t it?
The answer, in a word, is no, and the simple reason is, likewise, one word — priorities.
...
Conservatives understand that our cultural foundation is weak when we live merely pragmatic and materialistic lives. We know the more weight life brings to bear on the shifting sand of moral indifference, the more likely our nation is to fail. We have learned that a house must be built upon deep footers and solid cornerstones, or it will fall.

He (HE!) wants amnesty for illegals. That’s a deal-breaker for me.
Sadly he did not resist the homosexual agenda the way he could have. I love the man but he was blind there.
If conservatives need to be told why they cannot support, in any way, a man who presents himself as a woman and makes himself a celebrity over it, then what in earth is their world and life view? It’s not conservative!
“Jessica Millan Patterson is a wife, mother, and the Chairwoman of the California Republican Party, where she is the first woman and Latina to serve as chair and is known for her get-things-done, no-nonsense style.”

Her parents gave California GOP Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson the right stuff from head to toe.
“common-sense border security”
No border can ever be secure if enough incentives such as US citizenship and full welfare benefits are offered to trample on it.
If 300,000 aliens started climbing over the border near a major US border city, how would they be stopped?
If a man who wears a dress and calls himself Kaitlyn is the best candidate Republicans can field in California - the GOP is done as a national party. Period.
Anyone mentally ill enough to lop off perfectly healthy organs and bully others into saying he is a she has no business ruling over 40 million people.
Another ‘purity’ test?
Yes ... let’s all fail together again ...
“Forget it Jake, it’s conservatives “infighting amongst themselves” again.”
Jenner is apparently a Bush/Cheney/Romney/McCain Republican who seems to favor amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens. I don’t particularly care what this old man chose to do to his body, and he’d have my vote if he took America-first positions and did not favor rewarding illegal entry into this nation. As it is, I’m not going to vote for any more RINOs. CA can drown with the Democrats it loves. I’m out of here soon.
We can do better than Jenner. There are very few benefits to "transitioning" and a lot of drawbacks. Shouldn't that be up to him? Yes, he is/was a grown man. Isn't that just an individual liberty? It's libertine, not liberty.
Jenner isn’t making good choices. The amnesty argument is liberal, because it is based on emotion and not logic. Emotion says that dreamers through no fault of their own, blah blah blah. Logic says that rewarding illegal immigration results in more.
Never vote for a degenerate. He is devolving into his animal self.
Has Randy Quaid officially thrown his hat in the ring?
As if any of this sideshow matters. It’s Cali... either Newsom or an even more leftist dem will be sitting in that governor’s seat after it’s all said and done. Whether a man, woman or a weird creature like Jenner, there’s no way that state will elect a GOPer.
His perverse actions PROVE that he is mentally unstable (INSANE).
Isn’t that enough reason to reject this reject?
The “she” was the first deal breaker.
That’s a MAN, baby!
No, no, no. I’ll take anyone but more of Newsome. Seriously. Adding him on to ole Moonbeam was like getting BeijingBiden after Obama. We (out here in Ca land) need anyone, anyone but more of Newsome. Jenner checks a lot of progressive boxes — that will at worst freeze their vote away from Newsome. Even if we get a dead horse in the office, Newsome (and his policies) will get slapped down. Yeah, yeah, it might be pyrrhic victory. I’ll take that. And, since Ca is the model for all other states, y’all ought to consider that.
OK, how about trial by combat? Jenner in present form would wipe floor with Newsome. Get me a bowl of popcorn, I’m on for it.
