Athletes at the Tokyo Olympics will be prohibited from wearing “Black Lives Matter” apparel at games and ceremonies this summer, as officials have confirmed the ban on protests and political messages, according to TMZ.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) revealed its broad policy on no demonstrations on the field of play, during official ceremonies and at the podium two weeks ago, and the Associated Press reported this week that officials have now included “BLM” apparel to the list of banned items.
Officials say that BLM slogans will be permitted at some parts of the Games, such as at press conferences, during interviews and at team meetings, however, engaging in BLM-branded messaging outside of these areas is grounds for punishment.
The IOC reported that the ban comes as result of a poll revealing a “majority” of the 3,500 athletes are in favor of strict rules against demonstrations...

I REALLY hope some of our athletes act up and are thrown into a Japanese jail. Think of what jail must have been like in the days of the Shotguns...it’s basically the same now. No room for ‘individualness’ or ‘wokeness’, try that shit and you’ll have the crap beat out of you until you behave.
...and then they’ll come home as a changed person, possibly even on our side.
The consequence for violating the political demonstration rule should be if they act up on the stand when receiving a medal, the medal is immediately withdrawn as are all other medals won by the protester to date and awarded to the next finisher in line. They are also disqualified in participating in any further events. They must sign a form acknowledging they accept this procedure before they start competing.
Advertisers should know at the first political expression by a commentator or athlete I am not watching any more.
How can it be stopped? Some "American" wins a medal and starts kneeling with a raised fist and rips off his/her jacket to reveal a BLM shirt. Are guards going to manhandle the person off the rostrum? It's unenforcable.

Unenforceable? See post 26. I’ll go even further than that. If any fool makes any sign or gesture against their country they will immediately be stripped of any medals and awards as well as their team in the sport which they are participating.
In other words, if some runner makes a BLM gesture, that whole team is sent home immediately.
Post 26 merely states what the punishment “should be”. They’d never strip medals. It would make BLM martyrs out of the “protestors”.
Let’s just hope that IOC sticks to the guns and enforces some decency at the Olympics.
But I suspect you are right. If some little faggot wants to trash the US flag at the very time they are representing the US in their particular sport, I’m sure everything will be just peachy keen.
