At least 40 people - most believed to be female students - have been killed in a bomb attack on a school in west Kabul, according to Afghan government officials.
At least 50 are also reported to have been injured by the blast, which happened in the Shia-majority neighbourhood of Dasht-i-Barchi.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid denied involvement and condemned the incident.
He said only Islamic State group could be behind such an atrocity.

Bush should be ashamed to show himself in public for the amount of devastation he created by invading Afghanistan and Iraq. People needlessly killed and maimed, and thousands of Muslims now in the US because they are “refugees”. Then there is the trillions of dollars wasted. Oh, and we have Bush to thank for the Patriot Act which is now being used against patriots.

Since the Taliban is not yet back in power, I suppose they favor chaos.
But soon the Taliban will be back in power. They’ll sweep into Kabul as helicopters take off from the roof of the U.S. embassy. (Where have we seen that before?)
And then the Taliban will quickly clean house. Many people will die, including Afghanis who cooperated with American forces.
This whole mess is on George W. Bush. Not Obama, Trump, or Biden. Those last three are just bit players in the tragedy.
Some nations may claim they have never been conquered like Afghanistan but the ruins and death and destruction alone have done them in..
The Talibunnies met their match in Biden and Obammy and the rest of the world is paying for it, especially women in Afghanistan.
Does Biden really have any fight in him? Any decency?

I really don’t know what Biden could reasonably do. The only way to stop these terror attacks would be to clamp the whole country down. And that would take many more US troops.
That would only delay the inevitable, anyway. The war in Afghanistan was lost the moment George W. Bush decided to invade Iraq.
Biden is as clueless ans he is powerless as you say. I guess 47 years being a suit and seat filler can do that to someone.
However, you can not fight ruthless with wet noodles. Also, people need to want to be free. I am not so sure the population is anymore.
