God didn’t deliver for President Joe Biden, who recently begged “the Lord” to help him erase the congressionally approved immunity that gun-makers have from lawsuits.
In a little-noticed decision with a major impact on the firearms industry, a federal judge in Arizona has ruled in favor of pistol manufacturer Glock and dismissed a suit brought by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence on behalf of a man who was accidentally shot and paralyzed.
U.S. District Court Judge Susan Brnovich upheld liability immunity granted in the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act passed in 2005 to block gun-makers from a potential wave of industry-killing lawsuits.
Brnovich, nominated by former President Donald Trump and the wife of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, dismissed multiple claims in the suit that the act’s protections were illegal, writing, “The statute is constitutional.”

Too Bad,,Then we could have sued the car companies when ever an accident happens...Think of all the kitchen gadgets in your home, ladders, etc..The people could all be millionaires suing every company in the country....
I am glad to hear that it turned out this way. Why should pharmaceuticals get by with immunity when some of their drugs or vaccines wreak havoc?
We could sue law makers for hurtful laws
Need a better name than hurtful laws
I say we call them either “Hate Laws”
Or
“Assault Laws”
Or really get them with “Hate Assault Laws”
Glock is not responsible for stupidity in the USA. They should have sued the DNC.
Great news.

Ignorance of gun safety is racist.
Interesting case, I hadn’t heard of it before.
On review, I realize that I worded my previous post poorly. I had actually assumed that the usual product liability laws do apply to gun makers. A gun misfiring, when you need it most; is much like the brakes in your car failing, as you’re careening down a mountain road.
I was trying to express how absurd it is to sue a company, because their product works as intended. It’s reassuring to know that they (the gun companies) can be sued when their product fails — and not when it actually works. Maybe there’s still some sense left in the world.
One thing I don’t understand with the idiot, Fascist religious zealot left - even if they ultimately get their way on guns and/or fudge-packing the federal courts to gut the 2A, at the current trend they’ll be, maybe, half a billion LEGAL guns in the US very soon (if not already?). How exactly is gun control going to control anything in that scenario?
Wake up and think.
A Billion people all over the world have now been vaccinated. Do you have links of news clips that a million people have suffered serious side effects or died from the vaccine?
Even if a million suffer catastrophic effects from vaccine that computes to 99.9% safe vaccine! That is safer by orders of magnitude than driving a car.
Seems like they've already done a dry run with the ammo shortage.
Seriously, guns have been banned in other western countries with traditions of private gun ownership. So they know hoe to do it. Look at Britain and Australia. They'll make the penalties very severe. They'll ban ammo. They'll ban practice ranges. And worst of all, they'll encourage your kids (and ex-wives) to betray you. Most people will decide it's not worth it and turn their guns in. Most people are sheep. It's simply true.
If Guns Kill People,
Pencils Miss Spell Words,
Cars Drive Drunk,
and Spoons Make People Fat.
Shoot the lawyer aiding and abetting the criminal
Sure...
But is it orders of magnitude better than my God created immune system I received from my parents?
