Eight Asiatic lions at an Indian zoo have contracted the coronavirus, the government said on Tuesday, adding that there was no evidence that animals could transmit the disease to humans.

Zoo authorities in the southern city of Hyderabad shared samples with a government research laboratory on March 24 after the lions showed signs of respiratory distress.

The lions had a bit of a lion cold, and crank up the PCR test enough times to look at the supposed scraps of SARS-Cov2 and that’s what you’ll find.

Tests intended to help diagnose a medical condition in humans would have to be tested and the ranges adjusted to make them valid for lions. Many illnesses are not dangerous or even transmittable between species.

Coronaviruses have been a long-standing problem in veterinary medicine. Many domestic animals are vulnerable to them.

Several early projects to make vaccinations for Coronavirus used cats as the test subjects. Felines are vulnerable.

Those projects all failed. 100% of the vaccinated test animals died from ADE reactions after exposure to live Coronavirus. ...Oops. Can you say "Oops"? Project cancelled. This is the underlying reason for skeptical reaction to the mRNA treatments. But we really don't know yet.

And then there is the blood clotting derangement which is induced by the spike protein. Nobody saw that coming. But we are seeing it now.

We will know by next fall if ADE is a problem with the new treatments as the next seasonal variation of COVID appears. In this situation, No news is good news.
