The U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division is asking Arizona Senate President Karen Fann to respond to concerns the department has about the security of ballots and potential voter intimidation as the Senate’s contractors perform an audit of November’s presidential election in Maricopa County.
In a letter sent to Fann on Wednesday, Pamela S. Karlan, principal deputy assistant attorney general in the division, asked for Fann’s response to its concerns with an explanation of “the steps that the Arizona Senate will take to ensure that violations of federal law do not occur” during the audit.
The department’s concerns may have been prompted in part by a letter it received Thursday from three organizations, including the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, asking the department to dispatch federal monitors to oversee the audit. That letter raised the same concerns that the department said it has, regarding the security of ballots and potential voter intimidation.
Karlan wrote that the department had reviewed “news reports and complaints regarding the procedures being used for this audit” and was first concerned by a number of reports suggesting the ballots, machines and voter information are no longer under the control of state and local elections officials, aren’t being kept secure, and are at risk of “being lost, stolen, altered, compromised or destroyed.”

Once again, a very simple solution to what is, actually, a very simple problem.....
1. Gov Ducie advises the DOJ and local US Attorney’s office that since federal courts, especially SCOTUS, determined that numerous plaintiffs had no standing to address these very concerns, then it is determined that the DOJ and federal government has no standing to monitor a STATE audit of a STATE administered election.
2. Instruct the state police and state investigators to deny entrance to any representative of the DOJ as it is a STATE matter. You know, that whole 10th Amendment thing and all.
I always find it amazing that when the Left doesn’t get its way, they just run to the feds like spoiled children. Using their own statements....if things went down legit, why are they so scared? What do they have to hide?

Is it just me, or does anyone find it unseemly that a DOJ under a president whose election has serious questions, has any say in said election, much less the Feds have no business interfering in a state matter?
Yep. All they can do is suppress the info through media and social media. Delay and drag it out. Then the next state will fall. I can’t wait for GA to get caught. Once they start proving Michigan the republicans will come alive and start backing Trump. Lol. They are getting predictable. But with them using riots and media and social media it’s harder. At some point even the media will turn on biden..
I'm hoping that it's going to show that McSally won. If that is the case, she can definitely be re-instated as Senator since it only involves AZ. And there would be a domino effect with all the other Senate/House races in the RINO-controlled states that refused to enforce voter ID (and these same RINOs must face primaries in 2022). There was a black republican Senate candidate in Michigan who was ahead when the physical count was stopped and then the cheat-by-mail-in ballots gave it to the Democrat.
The DOJ needs to keep their nose out of it.
Not really a huge Bannon fan, but I’ve started watching some of these videos. That might be changing. These videos are short and to the point. One thing I’m liking is that he gives the people a chance to talk and get their info out.
The Democrats sure are putting a lot of effort into stopping or stalling this. Gee, I wonder why?
If the election were “clean and fair” as Biden keeps claiming, and there is “no evidence whatsoever” of voter fraud, an audit should be welcome.
If anything, to rub Trump and the Republicans nose in their fake conspiracy theories about the election being stolen.
This obviously shows they’re afraid and that there WAS election fraud - massive election fraud, enough to overturn the elction.
