A white woman could be charged with a hate crime after she called police on a black delivery driver and shouted racial abuse at him in Berkeley, California.
Julie Walrand, 35, is facing a string of charges over the April 18 incident, including using offensive words and willfully threatening a person based on their perceived characteristics, KRON4 reports.
Walrand and her boyfriend, who has not been identified, allegedly called 911 on Amazon driver Kendall McIntosh, claiming he was speeding through the streets of North Berkeley.
When McIntosh then stopped to make a delivery, Walrand pulled up next to him in her car and allegedly launched into an abusive tirade.

The left has arranged things so that anything a White says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, can be criminalized, while giving non-Whites permission to physically assault Whites.
Police barely investigated (took a statement and left) and there was no news report when two hispanic youths pulled a gun on me, robbed me, and repeatedly called me the n-word.

Those ‘delivery drivers’ are also speeding in the rural areas. Our gravel roads are 25 MPH, and UPS & the UNMARKED delivery drivers are a menace. County has graded my side road 3 times since Feb 1st...and they tear it up in short order. I am going to report UPS driver to central office next time I catch him, so I an be accurate as to the time, place, etc.
The sign says 25 MPH...Not 25 MPH, but UPS can do as they damn well please.....
UPS office is in another county, so they are NOT paying for OUR road maintenance.

Typical clickbait spin of the media framed it this way. The reality is she was arrested for attempting to detain the Amazon driver. At one point, she apparently got into his delivery van and tried to seize the steering wheel from him. Full on crazy.

California recently announced they are letting 76000 criminals out of their prisons. Are they doing this to make room for people convicted of saying the N Word?

Give them a break. They are financially motivated to make deliveries as quickly as possible. If they are going 60 in a 25, report them. But if 35 or 40 — don’t worry about it.
Where do you live where they put speed limit signs on the gravel roads in a “rural” area?
They don’t do that here in MO but I suppose there might be some written law. We go anywhere from 20-40, depending on smoothness of road and visibility. Nice flat straight part of the road with no or few houses, 40-45mph it is. Curves and hills, not so much. The school bus does those same speeds. They have to, otherwise that last kid would get home 3 hours after getting out of school. UPS/FedEx drivers are on a schedule and if they get done a little early or late, they still get paid the same. If they’re too late, they mess up the schedule of many.
The road I live on has several houses along a 1/2 mile strip so people slow down a little but visibility is good so we do 25-35. The school bus would probably do 45 if they didn’t have to make two stops.
Sounds like you live in a special karen type rural area.
My area is more like live and let live and we don’t knee no steenking rules.
In Berkeley Kamala was that ‘little girl’ in(early 70’s). Anyone that was there back then knew it was a pretty hip place to be. The daughter of 2 PHD’s didn’t hurt either. Houses are expensive so what do you expect?
Calling names is stupid and calling 911 for a non emergency is really stupid.
There is a problem with the Amazon trucks/vans speeding in our neighborhood.
The Fed Ex guy speeds and if he’s not speeding, he’s looking at his phone and texting whilst driving.
No problems with our UPS drivers that I’ve observed.
