Senator John Kennedy for President ‘24.
I can just hear the liberals now:
“Senator, I knew John Kennedy and you are no John Kennedy.”
Thank you and I couldn't agree more. In the day of instant messaging and communication these whip and buggy conservatives are reverting back to their favorite easy chair with a book and a glass of brandy. Most are completely useless for the fight we are in.
At some point people will start shooting at each other in earnest, then it will get interesting.
Like those refusing to get in the boxcar to go to a re-education camp or Covid recovery camp
I must reflect on these words, "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security."
I tend to focus on, "Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient Causes" and "provide new Guards", since our form of government, dictated by its constitution is a good thing and could be affected by new guards. The new guards part is built into the constitution, but we are hindered with institutional powers of two parties that provide for the constitution replacement of the guards; whether every two, four or six years.
I am uncertain that the institutional demise of the two political parties can be overcome. The proof is in the pudding. Here we sit after four years of Donald Trump, and the Republican Party is run by the likes of McConnell, McCarthy and Cheney. Exactly how do they retain power when so many deplorables do not want them? Even if they are cast out, who is to say that they would not be replaced with equally vile leaders cultivated by the Republican Party establishment?
I have some solace and hope that it is possible. The prescription is built into the Republican Party institution; likewise the prescription to fix the US Government is built into the Constitution. The Republican Party can be rebuilt from the bottom up. This begins with overthrowing existing precinct committeemen, which in turns dictates party leadership at county, state and federal levels. The question is, can this be done fast enough so that new leadership are not swallowed by the existing establishment elites?
If you asked me just a couple months ago, I would be all for the elimination the Republican Party and establishing a new party devoid anyone good, bad or indifferent from the Republican Party. New guards. Completely new, and willing to fight to abolish and reform the laws and parts of our government that are contrary to the powers prescribed by the constitution.
I fear that I will return to wanting the Republican Party eliminated in short amount of time. The acid test for this simple. There must be new leadership of a completely different vain after the 2022 elections. That leadership cannot come from the Republican Party establishment.
>>Our Country Was Founded by Geniuses, but It’s Being Run by Idiots<<
Oh my gosh...AMEN!!
The people of this country have consented to what we have today.
Look in the mirror.
01/06/2021 was an unarmed mistake.
You get it RoosterRedux.
Yep, you are correct, unfortunately. They are ALL EVIL, and they know exactly what they are doing to destroy/take over America.
Yeah. You’re right. He gets real cute, chatty, and oh-so-profound, but what is he DOING?
Exactly!

Sejanus: | There will be no trial. I have no need of a trial to prove your guilt. |
Gallus: | A song sung by every small-town corrupt policeman, which is what you are and what you should have stayed. I've watched your career with fascination, Sejanus. It's been a revelation to me. I never fully realized before how a small mind, allied to unlimited ambition, and without scruple can destroy a country full of clever men. I've seen how frail is the structure of a civilization before the onslaught of a gust of really bad breath! ... Yes. But I suppose you're not really the destroyer. We must look elsewhere for that. You're merely the putrefaction that spreads after death - the outward and visible sign of its presence. ... You're a lesson in history to me, Sejanus. Proving that above all.. mankind needs...its sense...of smell. |
Sejanus: | Bring him round. We'll start again. |
Excellent article. Recommend reading the entire thing.
We “know” who is oppressing us? Really? Who is running the Biden administration? Seriously. By name please.
That is their plan. To keep us just talking until it is TOO late to save America/Americans. We will have talked our way to TOTAL destruction instead of effective, group action(s), etc. to stop them/their EVIL.
You are probably the first poster to have read the article.
Yes, it is very good. The author, J.B. Shurk, makes the case for an Article V Convention of the States.
For example:
<>Exquisite things often break, and even the noblest of institutions become distorted over time until the original purposes for their creation are eclipsed (and often contradicted) by the personal motives of the men running those institutions into the ground.<>
<>Can the Constitution be preserved as our governing document even though the plain meaning of its words has been bastardized by all three branches to authorize government powers it does not delegate, to justify discrimination among groups of people where it demands the opposite, and to encroach upon personal liberties where it explicitly protects them?<>
<>Doing nothing is no longer an option.<>
Thinking and patriotic Americans, through God's gift of reason, are coming around to the only possible solution. Article V.
Idiot is the wrong word. These people are EVIL and know exactly what they are doing.
I have to admit I don’t even come close to reading most articles. If the writing is jumbled or I sense jackassery I bail pretty quickly. Thanks for posting.
They’re not idiots. They’ve been working on this plan for decades.
