President Joe Biden sparked confusion and celebration on Monday when he made a blunder by saying Americans making under $400,000 will not pay a 'single penny in taxes'.

Biden was selling his infrastructure and social spending programs during a trip to Virginia with his wife Jill when he made the slip in his speech.

He was referring to his promise that Americans making less than $400k will not see any tax increases to help pay for the $4.1trillion infrastructure and spending packages he has proposed.

As inflation occurs, and services increase their cost level to cover the taxes...everyone will pay into the pot while they are making $399,999 or less.

Just to take a humble guess, I’ll need to find $3k to $3.5k a year as my contribution to Joe’s tax and inflation.

Course, I will be getting a 2021 stimulus check (probably late summer), and at least two stimulus checks in 2022. Wouldn’t shock me if two stimulus check occur in 2023 as well.

Okay, so I get a 100% tax break and soon-divorced Gates couple will be stripped of their wealth to pay for it?

And don’t forget the 2024 rounds of stimulus checks just before the November election. Since the national debt is now becoming an imaginary number, what difference, at this point. does it make?

This is great! And since Biden is very careful and precise when speaking, I’m gonna assume he also means no state or local taxes.

I’d like to say more, but since I no longer have to pay takes I’m gonna go out and buy that fancy RV I’ve been looking at.

What has occurred, and you need to stand back to admire the landscape...Covid came along the path where you have college idiots owing $100k on college loans and $75k on credit cards.

In simple terms...for over a decade (maybe going back to 2000)....cash flow has been marginalizing. Services, gifts, cars, boats, vacations...are all on a difficult to achieve path now. Some of us avoided the college debt and the credit card debt. But the rest are tied down and can’t buy anything to show cash flow through the banks or capitalistic gimmicks.

Fed will just shovel money into the pit to keep failures from happening (zero interest is the key here) but what you have is an old ‘sick’ horse, without any value or capability.

Inflation, stagnation, and deflation are all lining up. Stimulus is the only thing to keep our mind off the chief problem.

Oh good, I’ll withdraw 300,000 from my 401k! Every year until taxes are reinstated. Wait a minute, define “earn”. They gonna tell you, “You didn’t earn that!”

There, will, however be taxes on money “acquired”.

I would go for no taxes, I make less than $400,000/year so hopefully that was Joe speaking the truth not the dementia speaking but I’m not holding my breath...

You may not pay the taxes directly, but YOU WILL pay the taxes in the form of higher price3d goods and less opportunity.
