The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expected to authorize Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for young adults age 12 and older by next week, according to a federal official and a person familiar with the process, setting up shots for many before the beginning of the next school year.
The announcement is set to come barely a month after the company found that its shot, which is already authorized for those age 16 and older, also provided protection for the younger group.
The federal official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to preview the FDA's action, said the agency was expected to expand its emergency use authorization for Pfizer's two-dose vaccine by early next week, and perhaps even sooner. The person familiar with the process, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters, confirmed the timeline and added that it is expected that the FDA will approve Pfizer's use by even younger children sometime this fall.

Oh yes this will work out well.
A drug companies dream!
What are the long term effects on children?
I’ll wait for the answer...
company’s
Clown world rolls on.
Don’t worry, it’s just a software patch...
... they’re never a problem.
What is the basis for emergency use of an unapproved drug in this demographic?
Insane
China has to be laughing at how easy all this is.
The serums are FDA “Authorized for use”. Not “Approved”. I keep stating that to people but they don’t listen.
Yet another reason to be glad I was never ‘blessed’...
No words - young people are a zero danger. ‘By the twitching of my thumbs....’
Out of their F’ing minds! When will this insanity end?!
People that support this outta be ashamed of themselves.
For kids in this age group the only ones getting it should be those whose have comorbidities and whose parents want their child to be vaccinated. Of course if the parents of a healthy kid insist, they should also be allowed. Other than that, schools should be opened and kids can ditch the Masks.
I hear ya.
But FDA is probably glad most people don’t care enough to know the difference.
Oh yes this will work out well.
For “emergency use authorization”
Because nothing says “emergency” like jabbing your kids with an experimental, unproven agent.
Sickening.
Yet, the FRVPs are dancing with glee, over this.
For kids that don't even know they have covid if they get it? What's the friggin emergency?
I am sure the MSM isnt really pointing this out or explaining the difference, so why would they... :)
