If the dems are so cocksure that the vote was legit, they should enthusiastically welcome this audit as their big opportunity to prove it.

They are also doing a forensic audit of the voting machines.

All true, thanks. Combining what you and I have said, correcting the programming of the voting machines is more or less a moot point.
So they won’t find how the computer was rigged.
I’m not sure you understand the difference between a recount and a forensic audit in which each ballot is looked at and signatures verified as well as voting addresses.
If as you say each Trump vote was adjusted to be just 3/4 of a vote and each Biden vote was added as 1.25 of a vote then there would be a discrepancy comparing the actual number of ballots for each.
For instance if the machine totals showed 750 votes tabulated for Trump while the actual hand count of those ballots was 1000, well we have a problem, Houston. Plus they are matching the names and addresses on envelopes to the registration lists and addresses of record.

I agree with your thoughts. I think they must have found something in evidence that is leading them in a new direction. They have no reason to drag it out, taking longer only opens more time for the media to try to criticize the process.
